Sefa Beef Döner — Restaurant in Bonn

We visited Sefa Donër in Bonn and encountered a long queue, resulting in a wait time of about half an hour. Due to its popularity, it’s necessary to reserve a table in advance; otherwise, you might be asked to vacate the table.

Unfortunately, the durum was sold out by the time we ordered. We opted for two sandwich donërs, which were served with sauces and salad. The bun was freshly baked and homemade, adding a pleasant touch to the meal. The sauce was flavorful without being overly salty. Falafel: The falafel was disappointing, with a heavy use of eastern spices and an overly fatty, crunchy texture that didn't suit my taste. The Best Kebab in Bonn, Without a Doubt! An Absolute Gem.

During our one-month stay in Bonn, this place became our absolute favorite spot. We loved it so much that we came back 3 or 4 times a week! The food here is on another level. I can honestly say their falafel is the best I have ever tried in my life – perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly flavorful. The kebabs are just as delicious, made with clearly fresh, high-quality ingredients.

What truly makes this place special, though, is the staff. They are incredibly warm, friendly, and always made us feel welcome. On our last visit, when we mentioned we were leaving Bonn soon, they gave us a drink on the house as a farewell gesture. It was such a kind and memorable act that shows how much they care about their customers.

While it might be slightly more expensive than other kebab places, you can taste the difference in every single bite. The quality is outstanding, and it is worth every single cent. Würde eigentlich 4 Sterne geben weil der Beef Döner mich nicht so überzeugt hat. Er war gut aber nicht überragend. Entgegen dem was der Name vermittelt, war das Hähnchenfleisch aber das beste was ich je gegessen habe. Wirklich frisch, gut gewürzt. Aber dazu gleich.

Haben uns einen Hähnchenteller, einen Beef sowie einen Hähnchendöner bestellt. Insgesamt 3 Getränke 36€ für alles ist für den Standort Preislich gut.

Der Standort hat viel zu bieten, die außenplätze. Ein wenig weiter der Markt und sogar Kinder haben in dem kleinen „mini Spielplatz“ ihren spaß. Ambiente also 5/5 Service der Mitarbeiter kam immer wieder vorbei, trotz mäßiger frequentierung stand er stets durch rufen oder Hand heben auf der Matte.

Nun zu dem Essen.

Ich habe den „Beef Döner“ nicht mit Gemüse und Käse, wie er beworben wird, probiert. Allerdings fand ich ihn trotzdem gut. Ich würden dem Beef Döner gute 7/10 oder eher 3/5 geben. Da das Fleisch nicht krass war, ich das Brot etwas trocken fand und vor allem finde ich, dass mit dem Fleisch wirklich gegeizt wurde. Hier würde ich gegen Aufpreis dann wenigstens mehr Fleisch anbieten.

Der Hähnchendöner war ähnlich schwach belegt, allerdings war das Hähnchenfleisch überdurchschnittlich.

Ich kann es kaum beschreiben aber es war auch super gewürzt und nicht zu salzig oder extrem es war einfach Top. Da gebe ich 10/10 Sternen weil es wirklich für mich, der kaum Hähnchendöner isst super war.

Der Dönerteller hingegen hatte meiner Meinung nach viel Fleisch und dazu gab es Pommes. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls sehr lecker deshalb gibts für den Teller 9/10 Sternen

Naja alles in allem ist die enttäuschung über den Beef Döner groß gewesen, da er für mich eher durchschnitt war. Allerdings hat der Laden trotzdem 5 Sterne verdient weil es wahrscheinlich mein Top 10 Dönerladen in Köln/Bonn wird und ich auch mal 30min dahinfahre nur um den Döner zu essen. Und eben weil das Ambiente wirklich toll ist man kann dort schön sitzen und essen. Was man da auf die Beine gestellt hat ist super.

Nachtrag nochmal. Ich finde wirklich es wird sehr viel gespart mittlerweile beim Fleisch und sogar bei den Pommes. Ein Menü mit Döner+ Pommes und 0,2L Getränk kostet mittlerweile 15€ und dann bekommt man so ein mini Schälchen Pommes dazu. Das ist schon sehr armselig. Ich finde das nicht mehr gerecht und Preis Leistung ist dann auch...
