India Tandoori Haus — Restaurant in Brunswick

While the staffs are very cordial and friendly, the food in the buffet was disappointing. For €20 per person dinner buffet, one should expect more variety and options.

They had 4 non-veg options but all of them were cooked in the same manner and the flavour was almost identical, regardless of the meat. I didn't feel any difference between butter chicken and normal chicken curry.

They had two veg options, one was supposed to an eggplant dish, which hardly had any eggplant, it was full of potatoes. The fact that eggplant costs €1.5 per kilo, while potato costs €0.70 got into their had I guess.

The lentil soup was the thinnest soup in the world. One would think lentil is worth gold because of such bland, thinness the soup.

They were even miserly with the salad option. After 8.30pm, it was empty and not getting refilled.

And let's not talk about the gulaab jamun. It was in fact not gulaab jamun at all. It was just normal red sweet ball. And that's the only dessert...

During our business trip to Braunschweig, we had the pleasure of dining at India Tandoori Haus, and it was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of authentic Indian dishes that truly capture the flavors and spices of India.

Every bite was packed with rich, aromatic tastes, and the quality of the food was absolutely outstanding.

The ambiance was welcoming, and the service was excellent, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and business meals.

Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in Braunschweig!

Durch Zufall stießen wir auf das kürzlich neu eröffnete India Tandoori Haus. Unsere erste Frage galt nach glutenfreiem Essen. Sofort bekamen wir eine ausführliche Erklärung über das Angebot. Bis auf das frisch gebackene Naanbrot ist tatsächlich alles GLUTENFREI. Wir waren in dem kleineren Buffetraum des Restaurants gelandet, in dem größeren Teil gibt es "an la carte". Alle Gerichte waren lecker, das Fleisch zart. Wir probierten uns fast durch das komplette Buffet, von Papadam über Ente mit Chili, Hähnchen und Lamm bis vegetarisch und endeten mit einer kleinen Süßspeise mit Halva.
