Food Quality: in general i would say quite good. Some dishes were not as good as expected, but decent food. Portions: good quantity of food. I was full before the main course. It was a nice and calm location to have dinner. The restaurant was not crowded and there was ample seatings for a drop in. We went during the weekday, but I have seen it a little crowded over the weekend. Reservations recommended, if over a weekend. The dishes and the service was good. A good experience. The only disappointment was the risotto was too salty for my taste buds, not sure if it is always prepared as salty.

Schon unzählige Male besucht und jedes Mal wieder top. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und typisch italienisch. Keine laute Kantinenatmosphäre da sich die Tische aufgrund der räumlichen Gegebenheiten gut verteilen und jeweils noch mit einer Glasscheibe getrennt sind, sodass private Gespräche möglich sind und man dank geringer Lautstärke einen romantischen Abend haben kann. Der Service ist erstklassig. Sehr freundlich, sehr schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Wartezeiten gibt es fast keine, bzw. wird diese gut überbrückt, da die Getränke sehr schnell kommen und kurz danach Brötchen mit Aioli und Bruschetta. (Bruschetta und Brötchen kommen warm und wirken sehr frisch zubereitet) Ich hatte dieses mal die Fischplatte mit Brokkoli und Kartoffeln. Das Gemüse und jeder einzelne Fisch inkl. dem Scampi waren perfekt auf den Punkt zubereitet und gut gwürzt. Wirklich ausgezeichnet! Für diese Preiskategorie für mich definitiv der beste Italiener in Braunschweig. Dank der tollen italienischen Gastfreundlichkeit geht man jedes Mal gut gelaunt raus und freut sich aufs nächste Mal.

It was so good I didn't even think about taking pictures. :) The place is in the city centre, it's classy, cozy and very pleasant. The staff is amazingly friendly - even with the full restaurant, they still take time to explain offer, they are nice to you and smile. A lot of restaurants should follow their example. They have a wide range of meals, for me - gluten free person - this place is a heaven! They offer gluten free pasta and pizza and they automatically bring you a gluten free bruschetta as an appetizer. It melted my heart, seriously. Last but not least, the meals are delicious! We went twice, therefore I tried both pasta and pizza and I don't remember the last time I was so happy about food. Wine is great as well. I strongly recommend this place to everyone, not...

Über Geschmack lässt sich ja streiten... Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell.

Das Essen ist einer Italienischen Küche jedoch nicht einmal ansatzweise angemessen.

Vorspeise Bruschetta - eiskalt und schwarz nicht untertrieben angebrannt -sorry aber so etwas geht überhaupt nicht.

Vorspeise kleine sehr trockene Brötchen und dazu Aioli Crem - geschmacklich nach warmer Crem de Margarine. Bei warmer Aioli ist immer Vorsicht geboten, sehr schnell kann das nach hinten losgehen.

Caprese (Mozzarella /Tomate) Basilikum war ein wenig. Kuhmilch-Mozzarella isst jeder - außer ein Italiener bei den Preis hätte ich di Buffo erwarte . Tomaten,billig, groß und wässrig. Drei tropfen keine Ahnung was jedoch kein Aceto Balsamico. Teller war für eine Vorspeise zu voll, dann mehr Qualität statt Quantität.

Hauptgang - Tiefkühl - Calamari gegessen, aber als Resümee des ganzen genauso und nicht mehr erwähnenswert.

Die Vorspeisen sind kostenlos aber auch geschmacklos, dann lieber nicht.

Dies war mein zweiter Besuch um jeden noch eine Chance zu geben, aber auch diesmal wieder gleiche Erfahrung - somit auch mein letzter Besuch. Bei Preisen die sich im mittleren Bereichen bewegen, sollten auch ein wenig Qualität bieten.

Wer hier mehr als 3 Sterne gibt, sollte mal einen richtigen Italiener oder den Arzt aufsuchen, um seine Geschmacksnerven checken zu lassen.

Als Referenz der Italienischen Küche sehe ich in Braunschweig das Mediterraneo in der Bertram Str. Ich beurteile nur so schlecht weil ich vergleiche oder ich hatte zweimal das Pech am falschen Tag zur...
