Adeli — Restaurant in Cologne

Ok so this is my opinion, but in this day, I was disappointed. I asked if I coukd just get eggs, bacon and toast, the waitress pointed me to the scrambled eggs, bacon and toast with salad on the side. She said i coukd have eggs. I ordered the scrambled, She served me three fried eggs and forgot the bacon, which she realised and took my dish away to get bacon. By the time she come back I had child hard over cooked eggs, salty crisps that she cakes bacon, (inedible salt), nice bread and salad i didn't want in the dust place. The. Came the coffee a latte , fresh milk was assured, no it's 6 month shelf life UHT. I asked if the coffee had 2 shot's, she said yes, when I got the bill, it was extra. Now when I had my first sip, I complained about the milk and that's when she confirmed UHT. I said I can't drink it and .... nothing. No offer the take it back. Terrible service. She also explained that she doesn't keep fresh milk as it goes off in half a day! Since when? Lies, and refer to the first question, souther lie, OK I'm a tourist, but don't treat customers like fools. They do sell fresh milk, try any Melbourne style coffee shop in Europe , and surly she had a fridge. My wife was happy with her cheese and spicy sauce dish... I felt...

If you’re in Cologne and on the hunt for a brunch spot that delivers big time, look no further than “Adeli”. We had three different dishes, and honestly? Every single bite was a win. The salmon-avocado bagel was absolute perfection, the pancakes with fresh fruit melted in our mouths, and the bowl with feta, eggs, and bacon was packed with flavor. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better—the caramel latte macchiato turned out to be the best we’ve ever tasted.

Not only was the food incredible, but the atmosphere was just as inviting—cozy, friendly, and the kind of place you wish you had discovered sooner. Plus, they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, so there’s truly something for everyone.

Cologne, you’ve outdone yourself...

Typical breakfast place. Has bowls, avocado toast and the likes.

Bowl : ok I guess, nothing special Bread and bagels : the people at my table seems to be satisfied Banana bread : disappointing. It was dry and barely had any banana taste - very strong starchy notes and in general very bland. Coffee : ok

Staff put the wrong item which was ~€1,5 more expensive that what was actually eaten. It’s not like we will dispute a mere €1,5 buf it’s just weird that the server was the one who decides that “es ist egal” when we appointed the mistake 🤷🏻‍♀️

In general it was a satisfactory experience, but not something I will...
