I tried the Shengjian and Beef Soup during my holiday trip to Köln. The location is perfect, about 5 minutes walking distance to centre station and Kölner Dom, and the food was an exceptional culinary experience.
The Shengjian, a type of pan-fried Baozi, was cooked to perfection. The bottom of the bun had a delightful crispy texture, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. The top was soft and fluffy, a perfect contrast to the crispy base. The filling, with several alternatives (pork, beef chicken, shrimp etc, you can even select a Mix and Match when you place the order), was juicy and flavorful.
The Beef Soup, on the other hand, was a secret ingredient soup in Kung Fu Panda. The beef was tender and cooked just right, melting in the mouth with ease. The addition of vegetables and herbs to the soup brought a freshness and complexity to the flavor profile, making each spoonful a delightful experience.
The service was also perfect. If you didn't finish your dish, you can bring them home. Warming them by pan is the best way to keep the taste, as explained...
