Mirai-Sushi — Restaurant in Cologne

Waren zu einem Kurztrip in Köln und sind zu zweit in das Restaurant aufgrund der guten Bewertungen.

Etwas unscheinbar klein, aber gemütlich eingerichtet.

Die Begrüßung war nett. Jedoch war die Dame, die mit uns kommunizierte, nur englischsprechend. Allerdings waren deutsche Bedienungen anwesend, warum wir die Dame bekamen, war uns nicht klar.

Nach einigen Erklärungen der doch sehr minderwertig dargestellten Karte (mit handschriftlichen Markierungen!) bestellten wir uns verschiedene Sushi Arten, die wir uns selbst zusammensuchten.

Außerdem eine Suppe und ein Hähnchenspieß als Vorspeise.

Die Suppe war okay, jedoch waren bei den Ganelen noch die Schwänze dran und ohne Besteck dann schwierig abzumachen. Bei meinem Hähnchenspieß war relativ viel Knorpel dran, was ich der Bedienung ehrlich sagte (lieb gemeint als Info), die dann gleich den Küchenchef holte, der mir erklärte, dass er nichts dazu kann und das so ist (etwas unnötig die Rechtfertigung und unangebracht)...

Zum Sushi: Wir waren nun bestimmt schon etliche Male Sushi essen, jedoch war das vom Geschmack, der Zubereitung und der Aufmachung her das Schlechteste. Der Reis war sehr warm, das Sushi fiel großteils auseinander und geschmacklich war es katastrophal.

Leider waren wir damit nicht zufrieden, auch preislich war es nicht in Ordnung vergleicht man es mit anderen Restaurants. Mit 35 € für 2 Personen mit 1 Getränk und wenig Sushi waren wir doch etwas zu unzufrieden.

Trotzdem eine nette Bedienung, aber leider reicht gut...

I live close by and as far as it goes for quality- one of the best sushi places in cologne. I am a huge sushi lover and have tried the majority of sushi places in cologne. As much as I love the sushi there (been there around 20 times at the restaurant already), I had to almost always wait 30-60 min to get my order because of the constant take out flux... - there is no priority in the sushi preparation and it wears out having to wait an average of 45 min for sushi.
