My-Da Garden — Restaurant in Cologne

We were there for dinner two nights ago, sitting outside. When ordering I showed the photo of the dish and emphasized we both want this. Some minutes later they came with another ones and when I showed the photo again, the waiter said this is for the next restaurant and not ours! And it’s your problem not ours!! So although from beginning they got mistakenly we were at their table, they didn’t inform us. The waiters were not friendly The food was ordinary and a little more expensive. We had a quick dinner here, during the 2023 gay pride - so it was rather busy, and perhaps not representative.

Food: OK to good. We had some Gỏi cuốn (those were good), some sushi (sake, maguro, kappa maki; previously unknown to me tempura deep fried chicken roll) - good enough but not super.

Drinks: had a Caipirinha: meh.

Service: it was very, very busy on the street (again - gay pride) and the owner was doing his very best to make as much money as possible off the crowd. Which is very...

Lovely little Vietnamese restaurant. Central location and easy to get to by metro or foot.

Very green and lush on the inside, plant and decor make it seem lively.

Great selection of noodle dishes, pho, salads, and appetizers. Cocktails, beers, and soft drinks are also plentiful!

The food is well made and presented. The pho is a more than generous amount. Chicken is well seasoned and prepared and rice was cooked to perfection.
