Pizzeria Trattoria Sorrentino — Restaurant in Cologne

Really really bad food. We ordered the vegan pizza, vegan lasagna and vegan tiramisu with a delivery service. After reading so many positive reviews and praises for the vegan options we were sadly very shocked and disappointed. They do indeed have a plethora of vegan options. Unfortunately the standards were low. The pizza itself was pretty average, but the vegan cheese was very industrial and off putting. The lasagna tasted like prison food for dogs. Really mushy, industrial, not fresh and without any integrity. The tiramisu was disgusting. The texture was like someone vomited it, no flavor at all, no resemblance to tiramisu and not fresh either.

If you don't know how to prepare vegan food, it's better just to make a pizza without cheese at all. Though we didn't taste any non vegan options, if these are the standards for their vegan food, it is hard to imagine that the non vegan food is much better.

A very disappointing order. Will never order from there again.

Update: got a stomachache...

The inside of the restaurant is very simple but cozy. We came because we saw here in Google Maps the picture of the pretty Napoli style pizza.

When we had a seat, the pizzas from the neighbor table came and we saw that they were complete different from the ones here in Google. I opened my phone and asked the waiter which kind of pizza is the ones that I came looking for. She nicely said that they were from the previous owner.

Very disappointed, I still order the pizza, because I wanted to try it, but they were just not good, the topping was ok, but the dough, very bad.

The waiter, a very nice girl, unfortunately was having a lot of problem, because it was crowded, and it was only her to deliver the pizza to the table, to take the drinks, to accept the payment and to clean after the clients.

I see that the new owner took the reputation of the previous one and now is destroying the restaurant not offering the same...

Our Go-To Italian Gem! This place has truly become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving Italian comfort food done right. The cozy ambiance and consistently friendly service make every visit a pleasure, but it’s the food that keeps us coming back again and again. Their spinach pizza is an absolute standout – perfectly crispy crust, generous fresh spinach, and just the right blend of cheeses. It’s simple, flavorful, and always hits the spot. But the real star (if we had to pick) is the rigatoni gorgonzola pasta. Creamy, rich, and packed with that signature gorgonzola punch – it’s comfort food heaven. Every bite is indulgent in the best way. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves authentic Italian dishes that feel like a warm hug. We can't wait for...
