I have been to their place twice. One time with colleagues and the other time with friends. The time with colleagues, their service was like okey and cannot complain but the time with friends were the worst experience. It was a celebration dinner plan. Tried to reach them in advance to reserve a place but unfortunately, it seems that their phone number listed is just for show and no one picks up. Here is the list of racism which we faced that made us to decided that even if they have the best food quality, we will never visit them anymore.
We asked for a 10 person table. We could see that a whole room is empty and not reserved and open for serving, but they refused us initially (FYI I had my dinner in that room 3 days ago with my colleagues). On demanding them why are we not allowed to sit there, their response was that we are not serving that table, whereas the immediate next table just a meter away is open for serving. Point to be noted that our group was a mixed group for different nationality and some of them were wearing traditional outfits. Later when we decided to leave the place, they changed their mind and allowed to sit.
While serving water/drinks, we were not provided with glasses to drink. Upon requesting, their response was we only have 3-4 glasses. How come a restaurant of 2 floors has only 3-4 glasses? We were not there late night or any super peak hours.
The final blow was when we decided to pay. To keep things simple we all agreed to pay a total sum instead of separated to help them a bit. The table next to use paid with EC card just a minute ago and also last time when I was with my colleagues, we paid by EC card. So I ask them to know the total and requested to pay by card. The Kellner's response was "Sorry we do not accept card payments for that table in that room". What the hell is that? I asked that few minutes ago the table next to us paid and it was okey and even 3 days ago I myself paid with card and it was okey and now why? The Kellner's response was "Sorry, It is the policy". I lost my words. After living in DE for more than 10 years, I just faced complete racism and from a Turkish person? WOW!!! Anyways fortunately I had some cash rolled in my pocket which were supposed to deposited in the bank, so I get it out to pay them in cash and then the Kellner looks at the cash and comments out "You Pablo Escobar?" By that time I already lost my temper and thus never replied or tipped them. Just cleared the bill and left the place.
I would have accepted that if it was just one event but a series of events and the whole group (locals and Internationals) felt their sheer disrespect and racism.
P.S. If X Kebab authority is reading this and willing to investigate, the events (the Kellner was a short Arab/Turkish decent guy with tattoos on his whole right arm) , then you are most welcome...
Read moreI visited this place with my friend and left disappointed and enraged. I wanted to try out mantis but i literally got scammed. Instead i received a plate with mini mantis, i couldn’t even taste meat in there. It was like i was eating 75% of boiled dough with a tiny bit of meat. Explains why they made it so small cause this way they can actually hide the fact that there’s literally almost no meat in there. Also they poured so much sour cream with chili oil on top, probably to cover up how small and miserable they actually look like.
When my friend asked for a bill, i asked a waiter to remove it from my bill cause it wasn’t what i expected it to be. The waiter just spread hands like he can’t do anything about, literally accusing me that it’s what i ordered and nothing can’t be helped. I left this place disappointed, enraged and deceived. The waiter didn’t once come up to us to ask if everything’s okay with our food, so service sucks a lot in this place.
I attached photos of what i wanted/what i got. I guess they don’t even do that with their hands, they just bought a package with this little things and just sell a portion for 8€ each.
Don’t visit this place unless you want to try some shitty food and leave disappointed. In that case, that would be on you cause the waiter won’t do anything about it and will not want to try to make your experience in their place good enough to...
Read moreWe came here with a suggestion of a friend. Food, atmosphere of the restaurant and especially service were amazing. They really deserve more than 5 stars.
Eventough it was a crowded Sunday night, we waited only 15 min to find a table. Good thing is they bring appetizers, so when you are waiting your order, you don’t starve and enjoy your night.
We ordered pide with minced meat and mixed grill-plate. Everything was well cooked. What is more importantly tht I like about this place, service was so good and all workers so friendly, even tough they work under a pig stress of many orders. I would definetly come here more often 👍🏼
Service: amazing Prices are also...
