The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. Has been so for years. But ... the boss is a no-go. He used to be a very kind person but changed totally this year, regarding his behaviour towards his staff and also guests. The worst thing happened today evening. We called to ask how long the kitchen will be open. 10pm, the staff answered - as it is also written right at the door: kitchen closes at 10pm, restaurant at 11pm. I went into the restaurant at 9.20pm, was greeted nicely by the staff, sat down. It was still full with around 20 people sitting there. At this moment the boss turned towards me, no hello, nothing but a serious face, telling me something with "close at 9.30". I thought he was talking about the kitchen and answered surprised but understanding that my partner and me will chose very quickly and took a short look the menu. After a minute he repeated what he said pointing out very clearly and unfriendly that it's actually not welcome that he "would have to wait now an hour for one table". No smile, no sorry, moreover angry about and with his staff who told us on the phone that the kitchen is open until 10pm. I understand it's a tough job but shouldn't you than just shorten your openening hours officially? And could you please not yell at your service staff like at dogs?! Anyway, he still served us a delicious meal. But it was obvious that he was in a hurry, almost trying to kick off the other guests. When I was about to finish my meal the last guests left. While I was still eating the last things on my plate, the boss put the chairs on the table next to us. At 9.55pm. An hour before closing regarding his opening hours. HOW COULD YOU THROW OUT YOUR GUESTS - GUESTS SINCE YEARS! - LIKE THIS?! AT 9.55PM?! I was speechless. He even got angry when my partner went to him to pay and to tell him that all that isn't a nice way to treat guests. "So just keep your money and leave my restaurant", he answered. I'm still speechless about this rude behaviour. NEVER AGAIN....

If we could give 0 stars review we would have given just that . One of the Worst Dining Experiences – Arrogance Served Hotter than the Food

If you’re looking for a pleasant evening out, avoid this place at all costs. What started as a simple dinner turned into an unnecessarily uncomfortable and insulting experience – all thanks to the owner’s appalling attitude.

From the moment we arrived, the owner seemed more interested in showing off than providing hospitality. Without any provocation, he began speaking in Hindi and quickly switched to English with a mocking smirk, making an uncalled-for stereotype about South Indians not knowing Hindi. Not only was it offensive, but it also showed a shocking lack of cultural sensitivity, especially for someone in the hospitality industry.

When we mentioned that one of the dishes was spicier than expected, instead of handling it professionally, he replied in the most condescending tone: “You ordered a level 2, can’t handle it?” The arrogance in his voice was palpable. To make things worse, he tried to snatch the dish away without even asking if we wanted to keep it or replace it.

It’s ironic and honestly shameful that someone who is Indian himself seems to have no understanding of the basic hospitality values our culture is known for. There’s a huge difference between confidence and arrogance — and this man has clearly lost his way.

Rude service, stereotypical remarks, and no regard for basic customer respect. There are plenty of restaurants that know how to treat guests with basic courtesy. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any of...

First comes worst, then comes worst than worst and after that comes this Restaurant food. It was a hot summer day and we thought of having biryani.. yeah we know it's bad idea but still never expected this. We ordered lamb biriyani and chicken samosa from their special menu. Firstly there were 0 Indian spices and aroma into their food. Chicken samosa is like driest patty with colour whatsoever is the filling. Mango lassi is like sugar juice with powder mango in it. Lastly the main food lamb biriyani .. yeah lamb was tender but the aroma and spices was worst. We don't wanted to waste the food and make it a scene so we gulped it and left the place . It was all colours and uncooked rice with raw dry cashew and rasins. They didn't clean them even. Rice was too oily and no taste at all . We never expected it to be spicy but at least some biriyani taste . Seriously very bad choice we took. I don't understand who gave such ratings for this place. Only good thing the owner (I guess) asked as for honest reviews. So I put my honest bold and...

We kind of found this place by accident but we are very happy that we did. A big smile welcomed us at the door. As soon as we sat down at our table we were served complementary Papad and sweet and green chutney. They have lot of different dishes to choose from. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options too. A big plus : those were marked very clearly so you didn’t have to read through all the meat options first. Small minus : they don’t serve tap beer or big bottles. But the selection of the drinks is very good. We had one veg dish which was amazing specially the sauce. But we are only giving four stars for food because the lamb biryani didn’t taste like the real biryani. It seems like it was not made quite in the authentic way but rather the ingredients were mixed together shortly before serving. It tasted good but if you are expecting a proper biryani then this is not the dish for you. But they have plenty of other delicious options. Definitely worth a visit. We will come again for sure to try Lamb Kalimiri and other dishes.

Delicious Indian cuisine with friendly staff, service is also fast. It would be good if you make a reservation on the weekends, as it can get quite busy. You can get many vegetarian options. They serve rice with the vegetarian, chicken, lamb, fish and tandoori dishes. Normally these dishes are to be served with the Naan (kind of flat bread), but they are serving Naan as a side dish. To anyone who doesn't have experience with Indian food, i would recommend (vegetarian dishes) Shahi paneer, Palak paneer and Daal makhani with the Naan (Garlic naan is always best). You can order Mango lassi to make any dish complete. Try eating with your hand, which adds to the overall experience. Using your hand to eat indian food can enhance the flavors and aromas of the dishes.
