Cafe, Bar, Lounge Botschaft — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

We went every day of our vacations in Düsseldorf in this cafe. They are really kind, they know the customers by name, so seems to be very local. The place is nice to take pictures, well decorated, and the food is delicious! I like to eat a cup of coffee and bread with butter in the mornings. I got this in this cafe. They have a good dish called Botschaft breakfast that you can eat alone or split for 2 people. This dish came with a coffee or tea, two breads, an egg, butter, cheese, slices of cheese and ham, small tomatos, and a glass of orange juice. This dish came with a coffee, and you can order one more. The price was the same that we could find in the hotel, but served 2 people instead of one. When I go back to Düsseldorf I definitely will back to have my breakfast...

A lovely little restaurant and bar serving breakfast, cake, poke bowls, pizza and flammkuchen (thin dough with toppings like ham, cheese and onion or shrimp and dill. very reasonably priced 10€ or less per dish. lovely beers, wines, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages. the lady was on her own when we arrived at 2.30pm and served us super quickly! today we ordered 2 x flammkuchen, a radler, a beer, a hot white chocolate and a pineapple juice for approx 35€. toilets were clean. ample...

Wir haben diesen Ort jeden Monat mit einer großen Gruppe besucht. Jedes Mal haben wir Essen und Getränke bestellt. Ein Kellner war der beste, leider war er heute nicht im Dienst. Normalerweise bestellten wir viel und bekamen kostenloses Wasser. Heute war es draußen über 30 Grad und wir haben den halben Tag in der Sonne verbracht, wir wollten uns in der Bar entspannen und heute wurde uns das Wasser verweigert, obwohl wir schon angefangen hatten, Pizza und Getränke zu bestellen. Der Mann fing an zu schreien, dass sie die Gläser jedes Mal abwaschen sollten. Dann fing er an, uns anzuschauen und jede unserer Bewegungen zu kontrollieren. Als unser Freund das im Laden gekaufte Wasser herausholte, wurde er aus dem Restaurant geworfen. Wir hatten bereits drei Tische besetzt, und die Hälfte unserer Freunde war noch nicht da. Wir sollten bis zu 20 Personen sein, von denen jeder wie üblich bestellt hätte. Die Institution verhielt sich sehr kleinlich. Es war ekelhaft.

Ich erinnere mich auch an einen unangenehmen Moment im Restaurant, als man uns bei unserem nächsten Besuch kostenlose Shots versprach und es dann beim nächsten...
