I worked for the cafe for a day. I didn´t get paid. 0 money, 0 tips shared. All employees happened to be Russian including the owner, which is obviously fine if their behaviour would be fair and not prejudiced. I worked extra hours than I had committed to help them clean up even. The tips were more than normal and many customers asked about my positive service, and tried tipping me directly - which I of course put in the common box. But in the end, the owner didn´t even share the tips. Kept it all. Almost came across as jealous based on the various positive customer comments and critiqued me.
