We went here to celebrate our anniversary and had a three-course menu recommended by the waitress. It was really great. Everything about this food experience was so well harmonized.
We had a variety of little Mezze as starters/appetizers. There were some classics like hummus but also some fancy lentil or fennel salad. The bread, they served on the side, was incredible; crunchy on the outside warm and soft in the inside.
For the main course we had a mixed grilled fish plate with a tuna steak some tasty salmon and a whole gilt-head bream cooked/grilled to perfection. Also the herb and spices rub, in which the fishes were coated, tasted unbelievable! You could choose two side dishes out of a six. We had some fries and mujadra rice; you should taste it.
And for the grand finally we have gotten a bouquet of different desserts like baklava and malabi.
The price is worth it, a definite recommendation from us!
Also the waitress respectively the whole staff was really obliging and overall great hosts!
You should visit and try it yourself! Highly recommended and possibly addictive in a good way. We will definitely visit...
Read moreI entered the restaurant with my whole family and we were very coldly NOT welcomed by an unfriendly waitress, with a dismissive "Haven't you reserved?" even before saying "good morning", notwithstanding being 14:00 and the place being not even half full and the crew was not even trying to practice the minimal standard social courtesy due to any customer. To make thing worse, we were coldly left without any further note, until a second waitress come out to say that if we would eat fast!, she could accomplish the job, provided we pay cash and NOT by credit card (even if the door of the restaurant shows the relevant VISA etc symbols as welcome). To my moderate remarks (in the city centre of the capital city of NRW, such a practice is hard to be understood), I was roughly invited to pay a visit to a not better specified "some hundred meters away" ATM. Maybe the restaurant is fine, but it's really poorly managed. And, last nail in the coffin, maybe my German is less than perfect, but, really surprising, no one could catch either Hebrew or English and made the least effort to make herself...

I got to experience Die Kurve last Friday evening (05/08/2016) with couple of friends. We ordered some starters, two main dishes and started off with drinks. We waited for our food for over an HOUR and asked the waiter. The explanation was, it’s due to the main dishes (kebab and Shoarma) not to mention that the table next to us who arrived 20 minutes later were already having their Kebabs. Finally our food arrived. I had ordered 3 Mezza all were tasty except one. I kindly asked if I could change it with something else and the waiter who claimed to be the manager responded that since I touched the food he can’t take it back and resell it. A normal reaction would have been, Oh I am sorry, let me change it for you. We were totally shocked by his response and he kept mentioning the same thing over again for three times to a point that we thought this must be a joke. The worst experience I have ever...
