RESTAURANT VALENTINO — Restaurant in Eisenach

Fantastic Italian restaurant where one can eat high quality dishes and drink good wines (nice list and other opportunities out of it) and beers. Staff is experienced and nice too and always customer focused. They make good suggestions and always find solutions to serve you the best (once I was served at 10pm… - in Germany…). Choice of dishes can cover all tastes, from local to international and I would suggest two things if you go there: all pizzas (you will get a feeling of it just by eating their bread when served at the table with the drinks) and rumpsteak (the first one in the list, called Santulucota, is quite spicy but I liked it too). To be fair, I was hungry and cold from rain outside when I visited this place. I should've ordered something more acceptable but I just had to have seafood in the middle of Germany. The look of it was good enough. The tastes though was overwhelmed with white wine and the muscles and shrimp were OLD to the point they were falling apart when I touched it. We enjoyed three meals at Valentino’s during our stay in Eisenach. Livio, our waiter (on each visit) was friendly, efficient and most importantly, our food was well prepared with high quality ingredients. Pasta was “al dente”, pizza was well made, carpaccio and grilled Zander also very good. My husband and I would recommend this restaurant...
