Mr. Bleck Coffeeshop — Restaurant in Erlangen

My friend and I always go to this café because it’s near the library where we study. They use high-quality beans, and you can really taste the difference. I tried a frappé there for the first time (without cream), and honestly, it was flawless ,smooth, rich, and refreshing. They also offer pretzels, croissants, and cake. I recommend the chocolate brownie, it’s a must-try! Moreover, the staff there are always welcoming and friendly. If I had to mention one small downside, it’s that the café is usually quite full and the tables are placed pretty close together. So if you’re looking for a quiet corner or a private conversation, this might not be the ideal spot 😂🫶🏼. The prices aren’t exactly cheap… but for coffee this good and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s absolutely worth it. All in all, I totally recommend it. Normally I love this place, their young employees are so kind and customer oriented. The old male employee (or owner I don’t know) is very rude. After I order coffee , he told me “wenn du lange bleibst, du mussen wieder kommen” .. I was there for only 1 min. I was not sitting there for hours and not ordering anything. Place was not crowded as well. Plus, I’m a regular customer and almost everyday I order coffee from here sometimes to go , sometimes I sit there 2-3 hours. I really found this comment offensive and do not understand what this old grumpy man want from me.
