Five Guys Burgers and Fries Essen Limbecker Platz — Restaurant in Essen

My Partner and I ordered food, only for the burgers to be warm, and the fries to be cold and dry.

We ordered the food via the Wolt app, and even after an hour the app stated that the food was not yet ready. After over an hour we get a notification that the food is now ready and will be delivered. 10 minutes later the food is delivered and as stated above the burgers were warm, and the fries cold and dry.

Service was poor and when we called to complain and hopefully get a new order, the worker would not allow us to complain, nor would he immediately agree to sending us a new order. Instead asking us to wait a few minutes… knowing they were going to close in 15 minutes.

Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous, especially considering the food was inedible and the order...

Maybe I came to a better time but this branch delivered my food within what felt like seconds. I had the feeling my patties were a tad dryer this time but that crispy bacon and everything else was on spot. The fries were crisp and I finally had a few hours at their soda juke box but. Compared to the kids I played it classic and safe and kept away from mezzo mix peach and such. Burner was my milkshake though...I had to take a little walk after my dinner first but then ordered a malted chocolate milkshake with salted caramel and bacon for the way home and it was off tha hook! I could've done with a little less bacon but a appreciated the charred saltiness they added. All in all a fast food success... Oh, the guy at the counter and the lady you passed me my burger...

Best fast-food burger place ever!!! Starting from the ordering, till the time you leave, the service is awesome. They have numerous additions (i.e. salads, tomatoes, mayonnaise etc.) to the burger without any extra cost. They serve free peanuts while you're waiting for your order, which is usually 10 minutes. If you order a drink, you'll get unlimited refills! And best of all, they have free ketchup for your chips, which is very rare to find in German restaurants where you have to pay for them. We went there close to their closing time, and they gave us a huge bag of fresh potato chips for free, because they didn't want to...
