MA PASTA D Angelo — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I have tried pasta at this wonderful spot several times now. So far, I have had here Pasta Salvia, Pasta Bolognese (with MINCED BEEF TO UR ATTENTION, not pork as everywhere else!) and Pasta Carbonara. To say it was the best pasta in my life - would be fair enough. Their pasta is homemade! And you can add anything you want to it! Chili, walnuts, cream sauce, scampi, chorizo, beef, tuna, fresh garlic and many more things - you name it!

It is truly a unique spot, for my last order I asked them to remove bacon and replace is with chicken - guys, it was sooo delicious, I couldn’t stop praising it! Extremely juicy, creamy, rich in taste, the spaghetti was perfectlyy cooked (yes, you can choose the type of pasta as well - I chose spaghetti for my carbonara). They also have a good variety of drinks, for example homemade lemonade. And the prices are really affordable for the deliciousness you are getting! I am a very picky person when it comes to pasta to be honest, and this spot never let me down! Another very important point for me is service - staff here is the cutest ever, like cutest ever! They put a smile on my face every time I go there, so friendly and kind! The spot itself is also on a beautiful, small street - you can sit both inside and outside. I am thinking really hard - but can’t come up with any disadvantages, it’s especially halal friendly - because I was sooo striving for Bolognese, but couldn’t find any without pork in Würzburg - so this is now my go to spot when it comes to pasta!

This actually became one of my favourite pasta places in Frankfurt. At first I only had my food delivered but like 2 or 3 months ago I actually went to the place and really liked it. It is relatively small and very modern in design (so not like the classical Italian restaurant you know in Germany). The chef is very nice and he has a very good relation to his regular customers. Yet the most important thing is the food is great. If love pasta like I do this might really be the place for you, and you can easily customizes your dish. There is always some new interpretation of classics going on and in my mind it is working great. I'm not a pasta person but this shop caught my attention due to the fact that I heard from a tour guide that this is one of very few family business in sachsenhausen who make their own pasta. We tried small portions of pasta with pesto and I couldn't really feel the difference as I am not really a pasta lover. But what I really liked is the limonade with berries which is very soothing on a hot summer afternoon. Overall prices were ok and if I'd really had to choose then i'l pick eating at this place as compared to Vapiano. So end of story. Get your pasta at this place than any other dumb...
