I love bratwurst, and was excited to be in Germany where I could get some good brats. I convinced my wife and daughter to try the Best Worscht in town as the restaurant is named. I ordered the pork "old school" brat which was fantastic. My family were the only ones there after we were served and we were chatting with the two workers while we were eating. I mentioned how good the food was and that I didn't get the whole idea of "curry Worscht". The chef indicated that curry was the way all Germans ate it and asked me if I would like to try it and gave me a sample. Mind blown. I couldn't believe what I was eating. The curry flavors were absolutely amazing, so much better than I expected. What a fantastic experience to go and order something I loved and looked forward to but then to have a great conversation with the employees and try some new things that changed my brat eating...
Read moreThe food and proportions are excellent. The people are friendly. The price is right. If one loves currywurst, this is definitely a place to be. It has more of a college campus vibe. Busy street corner, seating made to shovel the food down and go. I quite like this environment. If one is active, it's perfect. I have one small quibble -- they don't serve beer. To me, currywurst should be accompanied by a good, mass-produced German beer, and some frites. I guess if I was grabbing a bite between classes, a Coke Zero would be the way to go, and the pairing tasted okay, but I missed the beer. Beer not being here is like pb&j w/o milk. If you don't drink alcohol, then this place will be at the top of your list for...

The shop attendant informed me that C was probably a safer bet. I'm glad I trusted his word. C definitely was close to my limit and it was a bit of a task to finish this tub. The bread on the side turned from an enticing sauce mopper to a life-saving spice quencher, so beware!
Start low and work your way up is my suggestion, as this place is definitely worth more than one visit despite seeming like a touristy chain shop. Full recommendations for...
