I had a very disappointing experience at a restaurant recently. My friend and I ordered two Pho soups, but we didn't enjoy them at all. My friend barely had two spoonfuls before stopping due to the poor quality. When we brought this up to the waiter, their response was unexpectedly aggressive. They removed her dish but still charged us 17 euros for it, offering a mere 3.5 euro discount even though she hardly ate any. The manager insisted their food was good and implied my friend's dissatisfaction was due to her not being from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. This felt like poor customer service to me. I don't understand how some people can complain about the food. What then is good food? A loaf of bread with sausage for 2,5€? 😂

Compared with Goc Pho or ONg Tao in Frankfurt, their food tastes better. This is the only restaurant where my colleagues and I come back for the same food every second day. The owner is very generous towards everyone. Additionally, he is very open to criticism and suggestions.

As a Vietnamese, I know what delicious Vietnamese food should taste like. I have been to many of the 5 star hotels and resorts in Vietnam, the Maldives and Mauritius, Europe, this restaurant is of a high food quality standard!

Terrible experience. Poor service, bad food. Absolutely not recommended—don’t come here!！ I've never experienced such rude service in an Asian restaurant, especially from an East Asian woman with shoulder-length hair. The restaurant's listed opening time on Google is 10:30 AM, and we arrived around 10:50. At around 11:00, she showed up, speaking loudly in Vietnamese (or another East Asian language), then slowly walked over and coldly said: "We open at 11." We were surprised because it clearly shows 10:30 on Google. She became visibly impatient and repeated in a very rude and dismissive tone: "We open at 11, we open at 11."

We came here specifically because of the good reviews, but not only was the attitude awful—the pho was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever had. The rice noodles were broken and stuck to the bottom of the bowl, and the broth was extremely salty.

When we politely asked for the bill, she acknowledged us but immediately turned to chat with other staff. Even when our Uber driver had arrived, she was still talking. Finally, a male staff member noticed and helped us check out.

Laut Google sollte das Restaurant um 10:30 Uhr öffnen. Wir kamen gegen 10:50 Uhr an. Gegen 11:00 Uhr kam sie schließlich, sprach laut auf Vietnamesisch (oder einer anderen ostasiatischen Sprache), und sagte dann langsam und kühl: „Wir öffnen um 11.“

Wir waren überrascht, da auf Google deutlich 10:30 Uhr steht. Sie wurde sehr ungeduldig und wiederholte genervt und unfreundlich: „Wir öffnen um 11, wir öffnen um 11.“

Wir sind extra wegen der guten Bewertungen gekommen – doch nicht nur der Service war schrecklich, das Essen war noch schlimmer. Das Pho war eines der schlechtesten, das ich je gegessen habe: Die Reisnudeln waren zerbrochen und klebten am Schüsselboden, die Brühe war extrem salzig.

Beim Bezahlen haben wir sie leise darum gebeten, aber sie hat nur kurz genickt und sich dann sofort wieder mit anderen Mitarbeitern unterhalten. Selbst als unser Uber-Fahrer schon da war, hat sie uns ignoriert. Schließlich kam ein männlicher Mitarbeiter und hat uns netterweise abgerechnet.

Insgesamt eine katastrophale Erfahrung. Schlechter Service, schlechtes Essen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen – kommt bloß nicht...
