I had a horrible experience with the man at the counter. I initially ordered a caeser salad and a bottle of coke. Before I made the payment, I said "sorry can I take Volvic water instead of coke?" He complained which went on for about 10 second but I again apologised. It seemed that he is not well trained using the POS machine, hence struggling to cancel the coke and enter new order. Then he looked at me showing the face I am making a big trouble for him and also pointed to the customers queuing behind me. I wasn't happy but I apologised for the 3rd time.
After making the payment, he refused to give me the receipt. He said he needs to show his boss, but as I needed the receipt to claim back to my company (I'm on business trip), I requested again. Took some time for him to generate another receipt and said the last words which made me pissed off. "YOU HAPPY NOW!? YOU THINK BEFORE YOU ORDER!"
Throughout the whole time, I never expressed my emotions and even at the end hearing all this, I just walked away not making any unpleasant scene as it would make other customers not pleasant as well. But they all have clearly seen how horrible the cashier.
I am attaching the receipt so that the owner can investigate. I am also spending time to post this so that others don't experience the same. I have met great German people for the past 10 days of stay except this last one which made the last impression about Germany bad. I will make a complaint to Frankfurt Airport in the...
Read moreI was looking for a place to charge my phone at Frankfurt airport - had a 3 hours wait. The only place according to the man in the bar was under the tables at The Bar. I thanked him and sat down to charge my phone and to work. After I while he asks me, if I want to buy anything and I said no thank you, not now. Then his attitude changed from friendly to profound rude. He threw me away immediately with an embarrassing excuse that he had to clean the table for a person not buying anything. And if I just sat there not buying anything, why should he be at the bar!
So, I took my leave and kindly asked him if he knew where else, I could charge my phone. "I don't, go over there!" And he waved me away. Just for the record, there were almost no other people at The Bar. Only four chairs were occupied. And when I took the picture of the tables for show, he shouted "NO PICTURE!" and he kept scolding me so the few customers in line looked frightened. I understand that I shouldn't take up space for paying clients, but the place was almost empty. Such a terrible rude personnel. I was leaving with out any complaints, but he still felt the need to shout at me. I hope the manager will have a chat with him.
On the picture, the black bag and green jacket was where I...
Read moreTerrible experience, overpriced, and awful customer service.
The service was extremely slow because the staff seemed overwhelmed, handling multiple tasks at once. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives on this side of the airport, which forces customers to settle for this subpar option.
I explicitly ordered a coffee with milk twice, but when I finally reached my gate (located at the far end of the terminal), I discovered I had been given a black coffee instead. By then, I didn’t have the time or energy to return and ask for milk.
It might seem like a small issue, but when you're in the middle of a long journey, with multiple flights ahead, paying €5.60 for a coffee that wasn't even correct—despite repeating my order several times—is incredibly frustrating.
Editing: now reading comments it's seems is the same lady (or all the employeers?) The one that attended when I was there, same pattern, rude, mumbling in German thinking nobody understands her (perhaps because many here are just...
