YAZZO — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Food is not particularly good. Got soggy dumplings with a really weird sauce that tasted like thinned out ketchup. The chicken skewers were not very nice, the meat felt very fatty and although it said it would come with a peanut sauce it came with the same thinned out ketchup sauce as the dumplings. Very disappointing. Negronis tasted weird and were very small, think this is a cocktail that is hard not to get right. + point for the possibility to sit outside although not very cozy outdoor area....

Seems like a nice place, but the service was sooooooo slow. Never had service this slow before. My girlfriend ordered a beetroot felafel salad that had no felafel in it. When we asked about it the server said that he's sorry but it was an old copy of the menu and the page needed updating. My dad ordered a beef cheek dish that came out with chicken instead of beef. Quite underrated restaurant for the quality of food they serve. This restaurant is in Best western hotel near Frankfurt airport. We were staying in the area in another hotel but wanted to explore seeing Japanese cuisine. I was quite impressed with the taste and quality of food here. Will definitely recommend this restaurant. The service can be a bit slow as they have limited staff but may just today. In the end the food was great...
