Very good restaurant next to the Steigenberger Hotel. The outside looks like a traditional/ fantasy German inn. The inside decor is gorgeous. I decided to sit outside as it was a lovely day and there was spacious seating and even a childrens play area right nearby.
They have two options, which is buffet and menu. I found the buffet to be a bit dry although the options are good. So I opted for the menu, which was delicious.
Their bread and flavored butter was a great start. And the fish was stellar with great photo worthy presentation.
The two waiters working that day were attentive and very friendly.
Overall I would recommend to anyone staying at this restaurant willing to shell out a bit extra $$...

We tried a veal schnitzel with green sauce, bratwurst, potato gratin, and 3 glasses of local wine. The servings are huge and they also provide bread, butter and cream cheese at no cost. For 2 of us our bill was just under 100 Euro. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. Highly recommend this restaurant, other restaurants in this precinct don’t appear to offer traditional German food so it’s well worth it. Google maps shows pedestrian access incorrectly - walk down the street with the same name as...

We skipped the buffet since we didn’t have that much of an appetite but the spread looked quite nice!
I ordered the Pork Knuckle and I highly recommend it! The sides were paired perfectly with the dish. The only complaint I had was the high price of mixed drinks. We ordered a gin and tonic with Tanqueray Gin which turned out to cost 16,50€ each. The beers we had were reasonably priced 6-7€ but was a bit of a shock when getting the bill and noticing the...
