Fili Café - Freiburg im Breisgau — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

I will do the review in English and in Spanish: English: I first arrived at Filis around mid-late 2022, and as a guy that use to manage 2 coffee shops I can say "they have a great product!!!" After I came more and more often I got to know one or two of the baristas that work there (Paul, Luca, etc). They are super friendly people that make an excellent coffee and are nice to talk with, which makes the experience even better 🙂. The place is super cozy specially during the hard German winter, and although I ve not tried lots of the cakes they offer, the one I did taste really good. Now I am moving out I am asking myself "Am I going to find another fili there????" Ps: my friends make fun of me saying fili was/is "my office" cause I come so often 😂

Spanish: Conocí Fili a mediados del 2022, y como alguien que solía administrar 2 cafeterías, puedo decir que el producto que ofrecen es muy muy bueno!!! Al venir seguido empecé a conocer a algunos de los baristas que allí trabajan (Paul, Luca, etc). Son súper amigables, hacen un café exquisito y hacen de la experiencia de venir aún mejor 🙂. El lugar es muy acogedor especialmente durante el duro invierno alemán y aunque no he probado muchas de las tortas, las que he comido han estado muy ricas. Ahora que me mudo me pregunto, ¿¿encontraré un Fili allí?? Pd: mis amigos suelen reírse de mí diciendo que Fili es como mi oficina por lo mucho que lo...

The place is a nice place to go and get a cup of coffee or a shot of espresso. Yet I do find few problems with it... The prices are relatively high. It is one of these places designed to depict good quality through image but doesn't have a good quality products. It is somehow pretentious and culturally poor. So if you're looking for something quick and mediocre, this is the right place. Otherwise there are many other places where one can get the perfect...

Delighted to have found a proper barista style coffee bar in Freiburg! Ambience is fabulous, with a lovely variety light meals and sweet temptations, including something small on the side like biscotti. Inside seating is bar style, with some tables and chairs outside. We will definitely become regulars, and highly recommend others to try them...
