Boutique Aparthotel Friedrich — Hotel in Freiburg im Breisgau

We stayed at Boutique Aparthotel Friedrich for 2 nights last week.

What was good about the place (Pros) - Its a great concept - very convenient The check in and check out is smooth Its a decent sized room Its comes pre-stocked with basic items like a bottle of water, salt, sugar, coffee powder etc. the room has Air conditioning The old town is literally just across the room from the aparthotel. They provide a list of all the grocery shops , restaurants and pharmacy in the close vicinity.

What was not cool about the place (Cons)- The room was not cleaned too well. eg: the coffee machine and the floor The bed and bath linens were old and faded and though maybe washed and cleaned, it felt dirty. They could definitely do with new fresh linens. Lastly and the worst, the bathroom was smelling horrible. There was this nasty smelling emitting from the bathroom... not sure if it was from the shower drainage or elsewhere. And no matter what we did.. it never went away! If it wasn't for this stinking smelling, I would have given this...

First, what I liked - Good location walking distance to all whatever you need to see and shopping streets, the elevator well did it's job, big fridge, balcony, room comfort, 2 bathrooms (one of those is really tiny). Easy communication by phone with customer service due nobody on reception (covid-19 restrictions). AC is working good and Wi-Fi was excellent. Apartment complex is very close to REWE groceries store, which is very convenient. Walking distance to Marketplatz with market on it, daily 8 am - 13 pm (closed Sunday). Apartment was clean.||||Disliked · Old and ugly linen bedding and need to be replaced asap, uncomfortable pillows, a very hard sofa bed, I had to put a blanket underneath. We even had to call and make sure we should sleep on these sheets, the look was terrible. One small window was broken and could not be opened. The door to the balcony practically did not close totally due to a bad lock. Recommended parking is very expensive 19 euros per day and no discount to...

I have chosen this hotel because of the rating of 9,2 in booking.com site and 4 stars.|9,2 is excellent according to me and I guess for everybody |It is with for 5,5 maybe 6|The hotel lie is perfect, but this is all!|For now, the hotel has a “corona proof” check in.
