Bar St.Georg — Restaurant in Hamburg

Little bar tucked away on the main strip of St. Georg. We came because we thought it was a karaoke bar (ps, it’s only karaoke night once a month). We stayed because the bartender (never caught his name, sorry!) was so friendly and nice. Drinks are inexpensive. Two beers and a double gin and tonic came up to be ~€13. People do smoke inside here though. I must be the norm here, but I keep...

Traditional Kneipe in the middle of St Georg. Smoking allowed indoors but well ventilated. Plenty of seating at the bar or by the window plus some on the street. Barkeeper and local patrons were all friendly and patient with my broken German - as were German guests themselves on holiday....

Bar St. Georg ist eine kleine und tolle Bar. Mega Personal 😍 interessante und nette Menschen😊, Rauchen ist erlaubt in der Bar. Die Bar ist super besucht und das ist kein Wunder. Preise sind ok. Unisex Toilette war sauber. Obwohl viel los war, kamen die Getränke schnell. Die Bar ist eine 2G Bar, d.h. mit Impfnachweis oder Genesenennachweis kommt man rein. Insgesamt ein mega Abend, der Lust auf Wiedersehen macht.😊 Nach der langen Zeit, die für alle hart war und vielleicht immer noch ist, ist es echt schön wieder unter Menschen zu sein und etwas Normalität wieder zu haben.
