This place is unlike all other Döner Kebab places in Hamburg.

Fresh Durum flat bread is made to order all day long, while the chicken or veal meat skewers are made with but 100% fresh meat daily (I assume) unlike almost any other Kebab place in Germany, where the skewers are industrially made and delivered frozen, containing all sorts of other ingredients.

No surprise this place is packed with locals all day. Recently they opened another big dining area so nowadays it is easier to find a place to sit and eat. Don't worry, the line moves very quickly.

After having this you will not go back to regular Döner. Batman is the sh*t.

Extra tip: A small Döner Teller is enough to feed a regular human. Also don't get offended if the staff comes across a bit...

I hope this was just a bad day for the Batman Restaurant. I wanted to order a regular Döner Kebab. No one asked me what kind of meat I wanted with it. Only after paying I found out that all they had was chicken, which I usually don't order for that dish. I get my meal pretty fast and the size of it was pretty great for less than 4 EUR. However, it was already cold, the bread still tasted like flour, meaning it was not fully baked and I didn't taste much meat but lots of vegetable ingredients instead.
