We were pretty much the only guests a Friday evening for a reason. We were presented by the starters menu seperately because the main menu was so extensive according to the server. We felt forced to choose something. Went for shrimps and caesar salad, both priced at about 25 euro. Got 4 tasteless shrimps and a very bland salat. Bad start.
To the meat mains, after all it's a meat house. The meat menu had no 200 gram cuts under 50 euro. Ok, if it's amazing, no problem. Went for tenderloin 700g for two at about 160 euro, as extras some fries, veggies and two sauses.
The tenderloin tasted like liver, nothing enjoyable considering the price, the sauses were thin and the bearnaise tasted nothing like it should. Fries underwhelming. 3 glasses of wine, total bill of around 300 euro. Super overpriced for low quality.
To top it off the waiter got visibly displeased to say the least when we decided not to leave a tip considering the combined bad experience. Stay clear of this place. When walking the surrounding streets we saw many other restaurants with lots of people inside...

Service started out good until we had had a complaint, both manager and server took it very personal and "exploded" even though we wanted to have a calm conversation. Explanations given were bullshit and you could see right through they just wanted to get more cash out of you. We were happy to pay if they had given us what was on the reciept but instead blamed it on us. I have worked at a high end restaurant and I know how things work in the kitchen. Just because "special preparations" were given: aka put a sparkler on the dessert and gave us a seperate room (as if others can't give us this without an extra charge!) does not mean you can justify extra costs. If it really was an issue that the group was not the agreed amount then say it instead of saying it is no problem and expecting us to just accept the extra charge. The presentation of the meat was fine. The quality of the meat was good (had Rib-eye, 400g) but lack real taste. Also the cook had some difficulties to cook the meat as ordered. The Sauce béarnaise was a true disaster and did not have any similarity to béarnaise – not even the color. The Wine list is limited and the wines are heavily overpriced and they do not have the right glasses for it.
