Had very disappointing experience with Cafe Melt today. My avocado bread with the extra poached egg was just a parody of what they post on their social media accounts. The poached egg was just a HARD boiled egg in a weird shape. The avocado was half row.. all in all the dish looked very very sad, like they ran out of ingredients or some random person replaced the Chef that day. The cappuccino tasted absolutely the same as latte macchiato with no taste of coffee at all, as there was too much milk in it. The place was very full, full of tourists. Definitely not worth the money and a second visit.

Yet another Instagram place with mediocre food that I would not recommend to locals. I found this place on Mit Vergnügen website. Melt has beautiful Instagram but ultimately doesn’t keep up to the images that it posts there. The staff was fast and friendly, but the breakfast was too expensive for the quality and quantity. Moreover, the second floor was not as nice and waaay too crowded-people next to us were only ~50 cm away. Maybe I would come here again on a weekday to drink a coffee when there will be place at the „nicer one“ first floor but other than that - not anymore:/

Unfortunately, the food looks way better than it tastes. The Orientalische Käse mit Spiegelei was the best. But the chicken wrap had barely 4 small pieces of chicken, we thought at first that the cook forgot to put the chicken. Also, most plates don’t come with eggs. You have to order an extra portion which I find not the best way to be served in a breakfast place. It can cost me the same but serve it all together as one dish. The staff is very nice and welcoming tho. It’s not any of their fault.

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. From the moment I walked in, the staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. Instead of welcoming customers, they seemed irritated and unwilling to help.

The food was another letdown. It was poorly and badly prepared, everything tasted like fish and poorly ,and felt like it was made without any care and attention.

The atmosphere of the café wasn’t any better. It was noisy, disorganized, cold, old and far from comfortable.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other cafés with better food, friendlier staff, and a more welcoming atmosphere . Definitely not...

I bought a brownie and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was nice, but the brownie, surprisingly enough, tasted more like pancakes I have eaten at home than any brownie I have ever eaten.

The brownie I got tasted very different from all brownies I have ever eaten. The brownie did not taste good. It was the worst brownie I have ever eaten in my entire life. The consistency of the brownie was very different from all brownies I have ever eaten in my entire life. The consistency was not pleasant.

The staff were not nice to me.

Overall by far the worst experience I've had with any café in my...
