Dulf's Burger — Restaurant in Hamburg

You earned my first review ever for a restaurant, but only to ask you: Does your staff actually want to work?

Tuesday 26.04.2022, at 21:00, my gf and I decided to give the place a try.

Before approaching the entrance, we stayed on the sidewalk to check the menu on Google Maps (because it's nowhere outside). As we were checking, I overheard a couple at the entrance being told by a waiter that it would probably take 20 or even 30 minutes for a table to be free, so the couple left and the waiter went back inside, never to be seen again.

1 minute later, we decided anyways to give it a shot and wait. We arrive to the entrance and stood there 5 solid minutes and no one approached us. A blonde waitress with glasses saw us, but did nothing. During these 5 minutes, 2 tables became free though (only a few minutes after the previous couple was dismissed).

Since no one came to us at the entrance, we simply walked in and sat at the bar (the free tables were dirty). Another complete 5 minutes passed at the bar, no one approached us. The bartender seemed busier laughing with a client. The blonde waitress made eye contact with me and immediately turned her back at me when I raised my hand to get her attention. Meanwhile, a 3rd table became free, another waiter with tattooed arm walked next to us, ignored us as well.

After 10 minutes, or even more, of being ignored we simply left. We had never experienced this before; the personnel is...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Burger Experience at Dulf’s!

Visited Dulf’s Burger with four friends, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was top-notch – friendly, fast, and attentive. Even though the place was buzzing, our orders arrived quickly and perfectly prepared.

Now, let’s talk about the food – hands down, some of the best burgers in Hamburg! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The brioche buns were soft yet held everything together, and the fries? Simply next level! We also loved the homemade sauces, which added an extra punch of flavor.

The vibe at Dulf’s is fantastic – a perfect mix of casual, cozy, and cool. Whether you're a burger lover or just looking for an amazing meal in Hamburg, this place is a must-visit.

Highly recommend booking in advance, as it gets busy – and for a good reason! Dulf’s Burger truly lives up to the hype. Can't wait to come back!

I went with my husband on a Friday night around 8. The place was crowded but we didn’t queue too long before getting a table. The service was welcoming, all our waiters spoke English and were really helpful (giving recommandations, explaining the set menu, …). The place itself is nice, quite big, not too noisy even though it was crowded. I didn’t feel a specific vibe which would have made me feel like I was in a one-of-a-kind restaurant, but I was fine with it for a burger place.

The burgers were delicious, the sauces are amazing too. We had 2 set menus, which comes with sides (we had sweet potatoe fries and classic fries). The portions of fries were a bit too big for us so we couldn’t finish it, but I guess it depends on the people. (Next time I will definitely order just one portion to share.) I didn’t try the vegan options but they have a falafel patty and a beyond meat patty (the later being a bit more expensive).
