I was quite disappointed with the food. Despite the positive reviews, I found the ramen lacking in authenticity. The option of chicken or kombu dashi broth didn't deliver the rich, deep umami flavour I was hoping for.
In my opinion, it falls short of most ramen shops in Japan. The broth seemed to lack the long, slow cooking process that imparts depth of flavour. I couldn't make out much of the kombu or bonito dashi.
