Wildes Fräulein — Restaurant in Hamburg

I visited Wildes Fräulein with hopes of a relaxing café experience, but I'm sad to say it was anything but. The chocolate cake, which was only average in taste, had a listed price of 4.60€, yet I was charged 5€ with no explanation or warning for the discrepancy. It's unfortunate to leave a café with the feeling that you've been scammed.

While the staff was friendly towards me, the atmosphere was far from inviting. The café was filled with constant screaming and arguing emanating from the back kitchen, shattering any hopes of a serene outing. To add insult to injury, the barista decided to sort the trash right in the middle of the dining area.

As if the yelling wasn't enough, the sound of plates crashing onto the kitchen floor punctuated the incessant arguing. As I write this review, the noise level has only escalated. I have decided not to wait for the drama to unfold further and will be exiting this establishment immediately.

The food was good. But the final receipt contained things that we didn't order. I have discovered it only after the payment (payed with a credit card 40€) and asked them to sort it out. They asked me to pay again with the card, but this time the correct amount of 34€. Assuming that they will cancel the first payment I did pay the second time. After that, they just returned me back in cash 34€, but not 40€ :) When I have asked what is going on, they started to talk German to me even though I clearly said it twice that I don't speak German. Then they said "Don't worry, this is how our system works, everything is correct!" so I just left the place hoping that the reserved amount on my card will be adjusted according to "how their system works". We went there in june with my boyfriend. I ordered something with smoked salmon and thought I’ll get cooked salmon but instead i got uncooked one and i got upset bcs it didnt meet my expectations I told the server about the problem that i dont prefer to eat raw salmon and then Yanika(I hope write it correctly) came to our table and explain that it can happen there are some cultural differences and she offer to cook the salmon and brought me back.
