This restaurant web site states that "Diners are treated like guests in the home of friends". I never felt one second like a friend nor like a customer. First of all we waited 15 minutes and called several waiters before someone finally came to take our order. Staff is extremely arrogant. We called two waitress who ignored us. When finally a waiter came to take our order he started to look at his watch. That made us feel really welcome. We ordered some wine but were not offered to taste it, it was poured into our glass without a word. We were 3 and ordered the tasting menu to share at €39. Except that it was served for 2. The couple next to us who ordered the same menu showed us that we were served the same portion although we were 3. We were sitting opposite the kitchen counter and could see the orders being prepared. We waited 20 minutes after the starters to get our main. However we could see that our main had been left on the kitchen counter for the whole time. Again nobody attended us until we again called several waiters. Long story short, horrible service, arrogant staff, very hot, no air conditioning. This place feels like a fast food. Very provincial...
Read moreRecently moved my office near here and have now been a couple of times. I am enjoying eating my way through their menu. The food is top notch and is super tasty. I have yet to have anything which I really didn't enjoy. Service has been very good to date too. I once reserved and once walked in. When you reserve, you will most likely get a table to the right where the "proper" tables are. If a walk-in, you'll be more in the lounge type area. Both sides are fine and I like the large communal table in the middle as well in theory. Have yet to sit there though. I'm going to be back here plenty of times and I look forward to trying out a bunch of other stuff on the menu. The lunch specials are also great, although it seems somewhat smaller portions and you don't get the great bread which you do when ordering normal items. Not a big deal. Highly recommend checking out this well designed restaurant with great food and service if you are in...
Read moreOrder the Hamshuka, thinking I would receive Humus with meat, as it is described as "Our very own version of humus, minced beef and lamb and spicy chilli, served with NENI’s pita bread". What we received was a bowl of minced meat cooked in a sauce, topped with another sauce. Nothing about this has anything to do with humus. What was hilarious was the waiter trying to explain to us how this is a "version of humus", because I do not think even he knew—that part was very enjoyable. Then it took the waiter 20 min to get the bread to our table, so the "humus" was cold by then. We ended up just paying and finishing our dinner at a different restaurant.
Only had the one dish, and cannot comment on any of the other dishes, but, I mean, how can you fake humus!? 😂 Staff was not NOT friendly, and the location and vibe are ok, but I am not planning on returning nor...
