SOO good that this is my only request for my birthday! Mouth watering deliciousness.🤤 This is the Pad Thai with chicken (or duck), I honestly don’t know. I pointed to a picture I saw on google maps and that’s what they gave me. Regardless, AMAZING. No regrets. The ball is one of their appetizers, “Crispy Rice Balls”, do NOT sleep on them, they’re worth every calorie! The service there was astonishing, considering how packed they were. We walked in and ordered for takeout, took about 20ish minutes. Not too bad, if you ask me. I live about 30 minutes away from 9Chan and the food was still warm temp. The leftovers taste just as great! Great portioning. We bought 3 orders of this dish and it lasted 3 days for a family of 3.
side (probably irrelevant) note they do NOT take Amex. So come prepared...
Read moreWe were very excited to try this place after seeing it’s the highest rated Thai place in the area.
The menu is impressive, so many options to include non alcoholic beverages. They keep things relatively inexpensive too. Prosecco was 3.90 €
For appetizers we tried the chicken wings and the shrimp dumplings. Dumplings were okay, until adding the sweet and spicy sauce… perfect addition. The wings were good.
We got 2 dishes: the panang curry with beef. Plenty of delicious vegetables. I like my panang with a little stronger basil taste, but overall this was really good. We also had the shrimp fried rice. We were impressed with the flavor (best in the area)! Only complaint is that the dish was small in comparison to other places. We’ll be back to try...
Read moreI’ve been to Thailand and for Thai food in Germany this establishment is worth the try. It’s difficult finding a restaurant in Germany where the entire menu isn’t bland. 9chan is as close to Thailand that anyone in Landstuhl will ever get. It’s family owned and when I see a granny in the kitchen cooking, I know the food will be well worth it. It’s a small establishment and honestly pretty busy every time I visit. They offer to-go or pick up orders, which for Americans it’s a big plus. They take CC or cash and speak English. They’re constantly friendly and cater to anyone regardless of background. And they’re open on Sundays. It’s a win-win either way if stuck in the little town...
