Once again, I brought a large group to this incredible restaurant. You can make a reservation through their Facebook page. You will likely need one, especially for a group of eight. I brought a new Arab friend here as I convinced him he would feel like he was at home. He was impressed. I tried something different this time ordering the Bajan with spicy ground beef. The Bajan is eggplant. This dish was great although I was hoping for more spice. I also ordered the grilled spicy Muhammra bread with garlic balsamic sauce. My new friend ordered the schwarma and half of the large appetizer platter which serves four people. Another colleague also ordered an eggplant dish different than mine while his wife went with a schwarma platter. Another guy ordered the halloumi fried cheese with a big chicken leg. Lastly, a female friend also ordered a dish which I don't recall the name. However, these photos will speak for themselves. Enjoy! This place is legit. See...
Read moreWe went to their soft opening and everyone was so friendly. When you walk in, you receive a greeting like your meeting friends. Some sauces were accidentally forgot off of order and they apologized so much and tried to give feee dessert. Even though we insisted we understood and it was okay. You can tell they want to make sure everything is quality and going perfectly. The ambiance is very welcoming. I recommend sitting upstairs because the lighting is beautiful. They are currently cash only. If you park in the square where blarney stone is, you’ll see a place called Study Room, walk down that alley and Civat is on your left. There is also a volksbank right in that square should you need to pull out cash. Additionally, there are numerous vegan options and things easily gluten free. You can really take anyone here and have no problem with their dietary choices. Don’t be afraid to ask about the seasonings etc. they were...
Read moreI found out about this restaurant from the vegan group. What a great experience and fantastic food. It is authentic and delicious! We ordered tabouli which was perfectly seasoned, the falafel platter, a side of rice and the vegan eggplant dish. Everything was delicious. The potions were big but we ended up eating all of our food because everything was so good. The atmosphere is Muddle Eastern, the service is very good and the prices are fairly reasonable. I can't wait to return to try more vegan dishes. My only suggestion is to offer the vegan stuffed veggie dish every day instead of just on weekends. It wasn't available...
