This restaurant was recommended by many as a great place to go for Italian food. Upon entering I was greeted by the owners. The establishment offers payment via cash and card. WIth menus of both German and English.

Beginning with the atmosphere. The restaurant is very big with the addition of outside seating which will be perfect for the warmer days. I noticed that the cloth on the table was very dirty not a big detail for some as for me who tries the local places to give members honest reviews. Cleanliness is huge for me. The place is decorated with a nice candlelit area with white cloths for the table and décor such as paintings around the area.
Next, we will start with food & drinks. Started the night off with trying some house Rose and Red wine. As an appetizer I chose the Caprese as that is my usual go to and the Carpaccio. It seemed to me as the dishes to be very oily. The taste was ok especially for the Caprese. I found that dish to be not so appetizing or better yet even look pleasing. On top of that they offer bread in which I had no idea you will be charged for. Just for your information. As for the main. I ordered the Bistecca alla Griglia (Steak w/Herb Butter) and the Pizza Diavolo.
Continuing, I believe the steak portion would be a bit bigger as there is no portion sizing on the menu that is what you would hope for. The steak dish was more of a fries and steak instead of steak and fries. With this order you get a side salad. I don't know what sauce they added but my recommendation would be to add the dressing to the side as it is a bit much. As for the pizza. I don't see the hype for the flavor or the quality as our pizza seemed very doughy and it honestly lacked the love I thought would come from an Authentic Italian Restaurant.
Finally for the review. With the location being in the heart of Landstuhl with outdoor seating and a children's area. I don't believe that makes up for the quality of the food that was presented at the time. The cleanliness of the restaurant not being up to par from the table cloth being dirty to a disorganized restaurant. I would give this place a low 2 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale.
I hope the restaurant can make some much needed improvements. Such as the quality of the food they present, cleanliness...

Now for the bad: the restaurant was 100* inside despite cooler weather outside. The waitresses seemed super reluctant to greet and serve us ...maybe because it was 100* inside idk, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The tomato soup just tasted like sauce with cream in it. even with 5 of us picking at it while we waited we didn't finish it because it just was not good. My family got 2 orders of tortellini with creamy meat sauce, it was wayyyyy over salted for both, but we took it home without complaint to fix it. BUT my Pepe Steak was still mooing when they brought it out. I asked for medium. After trying my best to choke down 2 bites I reluctantly asked for them to cook it more and specified just a little pink. The waitress brought it back two minutes later still dark red/purple. Only the very outside layer was cooked. Since by this time the rest of my family was done eating and the children were getting restless when she seemed annoyed yet offered to cook it "3 more minutes" I passed and explained everyone else was done eating and the kids were getting fussy so it's better to just take it off our order. She said ok and then asked if I wanted to take it home. Which I declined. So when we went up to get the check we expected it to be removed from the bill. The servers refused to remove it because they offered to try to cook it again or let me take it home and cook it myself. She also insisted that purple meat is considered *medium here in Germany *...."which is what I asked for". (But I did specify a little pink...ideally I prefer actual medium which in the "US" is a bright pink...) but I guess a little pink in Germany also means dark red/purple. Sighhh so whatever we reluctantly paid the bill for the full amount as they insisted was our only choice because they couldn't remove it... but will be sure to make sure we never go there again....which is sad because the bruschetta was...
Read morePopped in for lunch with a couple of friends. Enjoyed the gentleman who served us and my Salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly. It practically melted in my mouth with the cream sauce it was served in. Also adore that they offer vegetables as a side option. You don’t always see veggies, usually it’s just what kind of potato would you like with your meal here in Germany. 😆

There was a bike rack right on the side and a larger parking lot literally right next door. 2 hour limit I believe during certain times. Also they had a small space for children to play in (see photo of rocking things in a...
