Barbarossa Bäckerei GmbH & Co. KG — Restaurant in Landstuhl

Our experience was horrible. I was there with my 2 year old daughter and we walked out about 15 minutes ago. We ate some food and it was alright, nothing amazing, but went back up to get my wife a coffee and a bread.

When we got in line there was one older lady in front of us and two servers (the only two there!), we waited when another man walked in grabbed a bag of coffee and walked over. He stood behind me knowing I was in line and then another man came in with two dogs. My daughter got a little frightened, so I picked her up. So now I'm standing in line holding a toddler, her bag, and her milk, clearly not being served. The old lady at the counter comes up and speaks in German, no biggy but we just got here, instead of a wave from her or a nod from the guy he walks around me and orders, but clearly knows what he did because he keeps looking at me. Fine you want to be that guy who does that and rude server who does that we will stand there and let you feel special, though he spoke English.

Now he is done and pays and the next guy with two dogs who speaks clear English does it. I stop at this point and say is there any reason why you guys are purposefully skipping me. The lady knows and the guys know. Well whatever we leave.

I have to say your xenophobic rudeness to the lady and men in line who heard me talking in English is amazing. I don't expect you to speak English, I'm in Germany and learning. But just some common human decency for a person waiting their turn in line holding a two year old because you got to bring your dogs in line. To the servers, you knew it and skipped us anyways and enabled the rudeness. No problem guys, we will go elsewhere, but your service and attitude to screw anyone else is just a reminder.

Wir waren heute um 10:20 dort. Natürlich war aufgrund Muttertag mehr los, jedoch war die Freundlichkeit der einen weiblichen Bedienung unterirdisch. Schon die Kundschaft vor mir wurde angeschnauzt als der Herr eine separate Tasse haben wollte. Auch bei dem Thema ob er Milch haben kann, wurde er sehr unhöflich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass er diese in der anderen Ecke sich selbst holen muss.

Wir wollten zu viert einfach gemütlich im Café sitzen was trinken und evtl essen. An der digitalen Anzeigetafel stand auch, dass verschiedene Frühstücksvariationen möglich sind. Als ich dran war, habe ich der Dame mitgeteilt, dass wir gerne draußen frühstücken möchten, jedoch der eine Tisch im Schatten noch abgesperrt ist. Direkt wurde ich in einem genervten Ton angemacht, dass es kein Frühstücksangebot gibt. Auf die Frage ob sie die Sitzgruppe aufmachen kann, ist sie gar nicht erst eingegangen. Ich selbst komme aus der Pflege im Krankenhaus und kenne Stress mehr als genug (dort geht es um Menschenleben und nicht um ein Stück Kuchen, welches zu spät an die Kundschaft kommt) jedoch ist die Art wie sie mit dem gegenüber umgeht wirklich abschreckend. Ich habe auch gesagt, dass etwas Freundlichkeit angebracht wäre und habe erneut gefragt ob sie wenigstens den Tisch und die Stühle aufsperren könnte. Dies wurde zwar mit Ja beantwortet, ist aber nicht erfolgt. Wir sind dann zu viert in ein anderes Café und obwohl dort noch mehr los war, war das Personal...

Who would have thought? Probably the biggest bakery in downtown Landstuhl. Had 2 staff working behind the counter. One taking orders in a very unfriendly manner. The other one preparing the orders, slamming them on the counter waiting for customers to collect.

Waiting time was ridiculous. 2 staff on a Sunday morning serving in house and to go customers. By the time I got to order around 10 am, I could have had lunch...
