it has great potential to be the go-to place if you're in Leipzig either living or visiting for a few days. Easy to get to, in the center of the city. The service was friendly, Professional, and quick. We tried 5 different Cocktails and they were all very tasty. The Korean bbq chicken with coleslaw was very tasty, the fries were nice and crispy, though I don't understand why we got a small package of ketchup and mayo instead of homemade mayo, ketchup at least in a small serving platter. The salmon was done nicely. I just feel they should be more daring with what they serve for food, take it up more than two notches. I visited this restaurant with my brother for dinner. First of all, when we arrived, the staff were standing around debating who would come over to assist us, and no one seemed eager to help. The tables were fully booked, but they offered us seats at the bar, assuring us we could still have dinner there. We sat at the bar and waited for 15 minutes, yet not a single member of staff came over. Even the people working behind the bar didn’t make eye contact with us during that time. Eventually, we decided to leave.

The service was absolutely awful. I understand that Germany isn’t particularly known for great service, but this was beyond disappointing. I won’t be coming back and would suggest others to consider...

Ich war vor zwei Tagen das erste Mal im R10. Die Karte und der Social Media Auftritt versprachen sehr viel. Auch haben Freunde von mir davon geschwärmt. Es ist eine toll eingerichtete Bar. Sehr gemütlich, stylisch und man sitzt recht bequem. Der Service, wir hatten eine Bedienung, war top. Super schnell, höflich und lustig. Es war also für mich alles super. Bis das Essen kam.

Ich sage bewusst ich und für mich, denn es handelt sich hierbei um meine subjektive Wahrnehmung. Ich hatte das pulled pork. Steht aktuell auch nicht mehr auf der Karte. Das war leider nix. Zwei kleine Gebäckteilchen mit einem Teelöffel voll lauwarmen aber trockenem pulled pork. Kaum Salsa drauf, vom Käse ein paar Flöckchen und ein kleiner Limettenschnitz daneben. Geschmacklich wirklich absolut lau. Sorry, dass war nix. Und das für 16 € oder so. Keine Ahnung. Es geht mir auch nicht um´s Geld, sondern darum, was ich dafür bekomme. Ich konnte mir auch denken, dass eine Portion da nix zum sattessen ist. Also noch ein paar Süßkartoffelpommes dazu. Die waren frisch und heiß und so weit ok. Bissel viel Salz für mich, aber das ist wirklich Geschmacksache. Das will ich nicht kritisieren. Andere mögen das genau so. Aber wenn ich gehobene Gastronomie anbieten will, und ich glaube das wollt Ihr, dann legt keine kleinen Quetschtüten mit Ketchup und Majo daneben. Da ist es auch egal ob die von Heinz sind. Lieber ne geile Mayo mit Limetten und schwarzem Pfeffer dazu selbst gemacht und eine Mojo Variation oder so. Geil zu Süßkartoffelpommes auch eine Birnen-Gorgonzola-Creme. Alles nicht schwer und auch nicht viel teurer als die Quetschtüten.

Also. Vielleicht hatte ich einfach nur Pech. An dem Abend. Mit meinem Essen. Keine Ahnung. Der Laden, die Leute und die Karte lassen aber vermuten das sie mehr können als das, was am Dienstag geliefert wurde.
