Burger House Pinakotheken — Restaurant in Munich

Simply put: the worst burger experience of my life. It is so bad. We ordered a truffle burger and it was overcooked, cold and with no sauce. The sweet potato fries were drenching in oil and for the first time in my life the fries were so burnt and hard that I literally could not eat them. So I decide to give them a chance. Upon asking for a new burger, a guy told us that that's exactly how the burger is. As if I never had this burger before in so many other Burger House places in town. I know it inside out. The guy insisted that the sauce is in pointing at what looked like a wet butter spot inside the bun. This is the definition of a truffle carpaccio according to them. I wanted to laugh. I said are you sure? He said yes and that's when I understood that they really don't care about clients and that they will never see me again. In all the other Burger House places I tried, it was correctly done. I think here the problem is that they just did not have it in store. But the bigger problem is that they just lie to the customers. Regarding the fries, the guy just exchanged them, however, they were not better. Giving those burnt fries should be against the law as they are clearly made with old oil, probably toxic. So I don't know what is up with this place, but people should be aware about the quality of the food presented not being up...

We had a late lunch at Burger House after a visit to the Neue Pinakothek and enjoyed the burgers served up here. Seating area is something of a western or Texas saloon with tired and worn tables and wall seat covers. It is all rather casual and relaxed, a nice place for a burger lunch. They have a big screen and were showing World Cup football match during our meal.

As for the burgers, we tried the Blue Cheese Bacon Burger and the Truffle Burger, both of which tasted great. Beef patties were grilled perfectly at medium. They had soft middles, were juicy and very flavourful. Toppings were fresh and tasty. The Truffle burger tasted as expected. Blue Cheese burger was better than expected, we'd happily reorder both. Sweet potato fries ordered were just fine.

Note: Walls are covered with provocative images of women. Not a big deal for adults but perhaps something to keep in mind if you are travelling with children and seeking out burger joints in Munich.

We'd return Burger House to order burgers again if we lived in the area. It is a good, quick lunch option for those visiting the art...

Very bad customer service. I went therw on 6-7-2021 in the afternoon with my colleagues and the bar tender/waiter there was very disrespectful. My colleagues and I waited for more than 10 mins to get the menu, but never got. We did not get a chance to even drink. After a long time of waiting, we started moving because we had a meeting to attend, and this bar tender, came to us and pushed us so hard, abused and said don't come here again. we quitely left without even saying a word. In theory, we should have called police and have reported because we had witness there as well.

No one has a write to behave like that with a customer and on top, pushed so hard for nothing. I even contacted the head office to report, they told me they will get back to me but they never did.

Such a pathetic customer service from the waiter and he even threatened that if I call police, he will beat us more. Never saw this in Germany in last 5 years.

Would never recommend...
