I recently dined at Khana Khazana and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that beautifully captured the essence of Indian culture. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome and well-cared for throughout our meal.
The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, each more tempting than the last. We started with the Aallo Tikki and the massala chai, both of which were perfectly spiced and prepared to perfection. For the main course, we opted for the Lamm palak and the Vegetable Jalfrezi. The Lamm pala was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of Lamb in a creamy, aromatic sauce. The Vegetable Jalfrezi was equally impressive, with fragrant basmati rice that had just the right amount of spice.
The garlic naan bread was fresh and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the delicious sauces. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing mango lassi, which was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy.
Dessert was a highlight, with the gulab jamun being a standout. These soft, sweet dumplings soaked in syrup were a delightful end to an unforgettable meal.
Overall, Khana Khazana exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and thoroughly enjoyable Indian dining experience. We will definitely be...
Read moreFood is good, service was extremely polite at the beginning. We ordered at first a dish by mistake and they offered to change it without cost, which was extremely nice. However they use the same number for different dishes which can be very confusing. #62 is used for a chicken dish as well as for halwa. After they were so kind to change our order after our first mistake, I noticed the additional mistake : i got chicken instead of halwa. Unfortunately when I pointed it out, even though I was also offered a change, I was treated in a different way: the attitude was like the person were a mother grounding their children, or as if we were trying to trick them . I expected a sorry, and a recognisement that having two dishes with the same number can be confusing (even without an additional dish change, I understand that! I actually didn't accept the second change offer!) For people who are not used to the names / pronunciation of the names, the numbers is the only clear thing there is. I guess we misunderstood the name when we heard it. It's a pity. It's close by to were we live but I don't think we will...
