Staro Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Munich

This review, especially for all the Indians visiting this restaurant, DO NOT. As soon as the owner got to know, I come from India, his tone towards the customers changed, he was not ready to explain the German language written in the menu, when I asked whether it was chicken or cow meat. While placing the order he took the order and then rudely said “CASH DENA HOGA VARNA NAHI HOGA, PHELE BATA RAHA HOON OR ELSE AAP LOGE LADNE MEIN HUSHAR HO”. After paying cash and sitting for 25 mins for a Pizza and pasta, I got the order where he knew we would need fork for the pasta. He did not serve it on purpose and when I asked for it, he asked me to come to the counter and take it myself. I sat there for 25 mins to eat and all that time the guy at the counter had been watching some weird Pakistan comedy show and in loud voice. When I asked him to pack my left over pasta ( as they tasted so so bad) he said “Pasta deke jao counter par”. Then 5 mins later, after he finished his video he took pasta in and packed it in a box and when asked for a plastic bag, replied “ hum log nahi rakhte “.

Ich weiß ja nicht ob die nen kompletten Teamwechsel hatten.. aber heute habe ich echt ne gute Anekdote: 3 hungrige Menschen bestellen am Tresen 1 Cheeseburger, 1 Chickenburger und 'ne Pommes. Der Mitarbeiter an der Kasse nennt irgendwelche Fantasiepreise (zb 6,40€ für Spezi + Burger, er gibt dann aber mehr raus, für den einzelnen Burger 6€... Später bestellt einer ein Giantburgermenü + extra Burger für 10€ usw)... Wir bezahlen vor dem Essen. Tür steht offen bei 10°C, als ich Frage ob wir die schließen können sagt er "wir brauchen aber Durchzug in der Küche" .. Auf die betretene Miene gibt er klein bei und wir dürfen sie schließen. 10min später bringt er 'ne Pommes, einen Chickenburger, und ein Tablett mit Burgerbuns - drauf ist Salat, Tomate und Soße. Ich gehe hin und meine ich würde mich über das Fleisch für meinen Burger freuen, er so :" kein Problem". Dann kommt er mit dem Tablett, ich guck rein, fehlt Käse.. diesmal geht meine Freundin vor (ich wäre bestimmt zu ungehalten gewesen) und fragt nach dem fehlenden Käse für meinen CHEESEburger. Er "ja kann ich machen". Bringt mir dann abermals das Tablett, ... Liegt unter dem Brötchen ein Häufchen geriebener Butterkäse. Ich frage ihn, ob es tatsächlich der dafür gedachte Käse ist und er meint er hat keinen anderen, der Gouda sei doch auch gut. Der Kalte. Geriebene. Wir hatten aber einen wirklich lustigen, wenn auch denkwürdigen Abend! Und schlecht haben die Burger echt nicht geschmeckt. Best Service ever 🍔

I went with family and had two pizzas, BBQ Chicken and Salami pizzas. Both were decent sized and taste wise also good. Considering that it is extremely hard to get Halal pizza in Munich, Staro Pizza & Pasta is a very good option (both price-wise and taste-wise). I paid 10 euros for both the pizzas.
