As a Singaporean living in Munich, I was over the moon to have discovered Dingshang. The restaurant is managed by a team of Chinese that know their food. We arrived as a party of two without reservations for lunch on a Sunday and we didn’t have to queue. We ordered the duck noodles, duck blood & pork intestine soup, and Sichuan pork ribs and found each dish dish perfectly cooked and seasoned — I generally find food in Germany to be far too salty so the perfect seasoning at Dingshang was a lovely surprise. The noodles had wonderful wok hey and the blood was springy with a nice bite. I hope Dingshang stays open for a long time so I may return time and time again.

Atmosphere: there’s a part of the restaurant that is unfinished, rest is perfect: just keep that in mind for official dinners & dates. So why the 5 stars? This is one of the good authentic places, and newer. They actually care about offering authentic dishes and staff was very friendly. I trust the small gripes will be resolved soon. Can highly recommend.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Die anderen Gerichte waren ebenso lecker, aber geschmacklich nichts Besonderes. Was allerdings recht komisch war, dass der Reis, welcher zu den Gerichten kam, mit Öl vermengt wurde. Wir haben es entsprechend angesprochen und es wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es immer so zubereitet wird bei ihnen. Als wir aber schon fast fertig mit dem Essen waren, haben sie uns doch normalen Reis, also ohne Öl serviert und es funktionierte plötzlich doch ohne Öl. 🤔 Was ich echt lieb von ihnen fand, dass wir nach dem Essen Sesambällchen aufs Haus bekommen haben. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Da es gut besucht war an dem Abend, kann es etwas länger dauern, bis man zum Zahlen bzw. zum Bestellen kommt. Sicherheitshalber würde ich empfehlen, vorab einen Tisch zu reservieren. Ansonsten war das Essen dort recht gut, besonders die trocken gebratene Ente im Wok.
