Food: Although Eclipse is a "grill bar" it has a lot of alternatives for vegetarians as well as vegan food lovers. I went there with a party of carnivore who engorged on their lam, beef and chicken on skewer, I enjoyed a perfect combination of vegetable "tapas", potato wedges (from fresh potatoes) and hummus with pine nuts. One of the tapas blew my mind! The absolutely ravishing 'hazil habait', an eggplant and tomato sweet and sour paste. This is a must! We finished our hedonist quest with mouthwatering Ugad Chokolad, a chocolate perfection topped with milk-free ice cream creation with nougat and caramel (vegan wonderland).

Service: very pleasant, always smiling and eager to serve and recommend a perfect meal of wine for you all are multilingual, so no problem if you are a party of international food lovers depending on how crowded the place is, it may take longer for your main course to come, so ordering some starters isn't a bad idea

Tip: Try to book in advance, else you may end up forced to look from outside while other who booked enjoy their tasty food :) Do not leave without trying...

The restaurant was busy but the staff made sure we would get a table anyway, which was great! As starters we got hummus which tasted creamy and well spiced with olive oil and the traditional pita. After this delightful culinary travel to Israel we ordered the lunch menu composed by a main dish and a soup (Borsh) or a salad. The menu is a mix of Israeli and Russian food, which just matches perfectly together. One of the dishes was “Schipud Bakar”: entrecôte with hummus and smashed sweet potato, a magic union of intense and spices and creamy sides with soft meat. The service was fast and attentive and held itself in the background while we enjoyed our experience. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant well furnished, the particular warm lights and the red-brown tones of the walls added a special touch to it. eclipse is absolutely worth it and offers special dishes for a very fair price. Absolutely amazing - fantastic - sublime ... there we have it al out of the way now. But seriously this is a fantastic restaurant with gorgeous food. Went there on a recommendation and it was so good I went back straight away the next day.

They offer a fantastic selection of Israeli foods and you can choose from either a Tapas approach or a full set meal - anything you really want. I have tried both to be honest - first day was a delicious selection of different dishes - so a tapas based approach and the next day I tried the full menu.

You can sit outside or inside and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I recommend to try the hummus and the bread as a minimum for starters and their Israeli mint homemade lemonade is fantastic so definitely...
