So happy that more pizza restaurants cater to vegans nowadays, but we’ve been here twice and the pizzas are just…mediocre. The dough is pretty good, but the toppings are kind of ‘off’. Odd combinations, not enough of a fatty ‘cheesy’ sauce, just kind of bland. The last time we were there we had the Nonnas Secret: the aubergine was undercooked and rubbery, the cashew parmesan was visible, but we couldn’t taste it and there were swirls of yoghurt on it, which was not even vegan, I think. Just a strange and not that appetizing combination. We also ordered the Barbie Q. Very overpowering and kind of sour bbq sauce, big chunks of ok ‘sausage’, just as big chunks of bland potato. Both pizzas were underwhelming. Please do an internship at Dr. Drooly’s, where the pizzas are 10 times better. We unfortunately won’t be visiting this...
Read moreI went to this place couple of time in the past and pizza was quite good, I always ordered their smoked margherita. Previously you could taste the smoked cheese but yesterday pizza was unbelievable: one side was overcooked and crunchy (Neapolitan should be never crunchy), one side was quite fine, no smoke taste even it was supposed to be and last, final, unacceptable thing was the oregano on the margherita. Never in my life I had oregano on margherita except for some USA chain where they cook their own pizza but the name is “Napoli rush”, you can’t do this especially because it totally change the taste and doesn’t match with that ingredient. At least they could write on the menu and I could choose to not add oregano! I don’t know what happened to this place but it got much worse. Not...
Read morePlease notice: The black spot of the pizza is not overcook lol it is what it is, it is NORMAL when this special soft bread to be baked in an special oven. Those part also add a bit flavour to the pizza, it definitely not bitter.
I will vote this as “Best pizza” in town, I love how soft the pizza bread is, and they are very yummy, they added a bit mozzarella in the crust, it’s so chewy, I love it! They have many choices for vegan, not so much for meat lovers. No seafood choice. But their mozzarella also very to the German one, extremely soft like marshmallow! The restaurant is cozy and not so big, better go early for seats. Don’t forget to add their homemade spicy oil and garlic...
