Pera Meze — Restaurant in Munich

Nice place with very good food. Space (indoors & outdoors) is very limited, booking is recommended. The dishes are very good. The menu has a small range of options, with meat, fish and veggie selections. The dishes are made to order with fresh ingredients. They are flavorful yet well balanced and have a mix of different textures (some crispy bits, some soft, …). Portion size is good, a single dish makes a satisfying main for 1 person if it isn‘t shared. Prizes are justified. Upon request, some alterations to the dish can be made in case of dietary requirements. As I had to omit the yoghurt dressing I was given a small side serving of humus to my dish, which I highly appreciated. Good customer service! It‘s a very small business with a small group of kitchen and service staff, so it might happen things take some time. But all waiters are very friendly and attentive, answer all questions patiently and all in all it is a relaxed atmosphere. Very good...

There's more to Turkish cuisine than just kebabs and Pera Meze is the proof.

We had the Vegi Teller Kalt – a plate with 4 different cold salads from an assortment of many more – and the Mama's Köfte. Both were super delicious and not at all "heavy" in the stomach. The bread... Oh, the bread... If I could, I would have brought a batch home. Momo suggested we tried the dessert. I can't remember the name but it was like 3 small cakes dipped in tahin. Unfortunattely, my friend didn't like the tahin flavour but Momo was very kind and brought a plate with extra cakes with no tahin just for him.

Food that is a feast for the senses and very kind and attentive staff....

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this restaurant was deeply upsetting.

From the start, the service was shockingly rude. When we had some questions about an item in the menu, the server was impatient and irritable and did not clarify an item properly, which resulted in us being double-charged.

When we tried to explain the misunderstanding, the manager snapped at us, showing no willingness to listen or help resolve the issue.

In the end, we paid twice the amount we were expecting and left feeling bullied and...
