It had been a long day and my partner picked this place out.

Walking in we were handed an English menu, there was plenty of of choice of Japanese, Thai and Korean type dishes.

I find Munich naturally a touch more expensive than other places we visited so far. Anyway, we ordered a miso soup. Fish soup and some spicy tuna and salmon outside maki which seemed the best value for 8 pieces. For the main, my partner had the chicken teriyaki and myself a tuna variant.

The fish soup was like a large miso but with large pieces of tasty fish. This was delicious. However the sushi wasn't very spicy, it was okay.

My tuna for the main were large pieces and flavours were good just not a lot going on, cucumber, lettuce, rice and sauce. My partners looked like something looked similar we would cook at home.

I also ordered a plum wine but even in Japan, I've never been served it hot in a sake bottle.

Overall service was fast and attentive, but the food was simply just okay. The highlight for me...

We ate there yesterday just by accident and didn’t expect anything special. But the food was EXCELLENT! Wow! The duck curry: 11/10. Super zart, schmackhaft und perfekte Kruste mit wenig Fett. Das Curry selbst mega lecker.

The rainbow inside out sushi: 12/10. Super soft salmon, tuna and octopus. It almost melted on my tong.

The wantan soup as a starter was great too. The spinach in sesamsauce is a real flavour experience and was so so so tasty.

As a Dessert we shared pistachio mochi and baked banana. Both were just amazing and I wish we’d have more.

Service 13/10. The waitress and waiter were so kind, funny, helpful and treated US just right.

Also price ist SO fair. 53€ for all of it + plus a Coke Zero and an aperol.

All in all: Best Asian Restaurant in...

Me and my friend waited for more than 1 hour to be served, our table hasn’t been cleaned, we saw people coming later than us being served first. The waiter pushed me so to take my order and then he ghosted and ignored us for more than 1 hour. Every time I asked how long would they need to give us something to eat, they keep repeating they were about to serve us. After some time they gave us some sushi rolls because they were sorry for the delay. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we entered inside to let them know we were hungry and we needed to leave. I choosed the place because of the good feedbacks on google. I will never come back again. Not...

First off, if you're planning on going there for dinner, the prices you see from the reviews on here are different from what you will get at the restaurant, as those are lunch time and old prices (Around 70% higher for dinner now). However, the food was not up to expectations, taste-wise and surely portion-wise. The Vietnamese pho bowl was okay to be fair (Still missed the soy beans which were named on the menu as an ingredient), but for the Sweet and Sour duck, I would place this under the kid's menu, as the meat portion and the way it is sliced is disappointing and there was very little rice that came with it. All in all would not go back again.
