I can’t fathom to date still why the service was so terrible… I have been to many Chinese /Asian restaurants in Munich, but I have never experienced such upsetting customer service before tbh. I arrived there with 2 colleagues. The first thing the lady (I guess the owner) told us was :”no dim-sum! Come only after 13:30!” in a very unfriendly tone before we even said anything and sat down… Then we were urged to sit inside and asked to take our utensils with us out of blue (ok, the weather didn’t look great, but why is the need to rush us like hell??), which was just ridiculous. What made it worse was that she kept urging us to order asap as if we were kids (like the tone was just really unfriendly). I don’t tend to compare but our German neighbor tables were treated differently though. At the end, while I was still in the middle of having my noodles, she came to us suddenly telling me to go outside and moved to another table, because her customers had been waiting for a long time…????? (I am sorry that’s not my problem ??)
Sorry but not going here again, never. You can’t treat your people like that. Rudeness to the...
Read moreI highly recommend trying dishes #15(black pepper not really spicy) , #14, #23, #9(Kung po sauce) .
For dimsum: #116,#118,#120,#109,#113.,#102(sweet).
This is one of the few places without MSG, offering authentic Chinese food. It reminds me of restaurants in Hong Kong, Macau, and coastal China—no MSG, no spiciness, completely handmade. The real black pepper and Kung Pao sauces are a delight.
Finding a dim sum master from Hong Kong/Macau is rare now; the handmade culture is also fading away even in China. This store will likely operate until the father can no longer make dim sum.
I'm thrilled to find this place, especially since many sauces and noodles in China are now industrialized. I'm grateful to enjoy this handmade food in 2024. Thanks to the healthy and happy chef. I'll definitely...
Read moreWe were looking for a place to eat lunch before visiting the Alte Pinakothek art museum. We got there around 12:50 pm and, fortunately, only had a short wait for a table because this place is small. We were happy to get English menus. We had a tasty meal. I got the beef with broccoli and rice (#18 on the menu). Surprisingly, my dish came with a lot of broth. My husband got the curry noodles with chicken and vegetables (25).
The people working there were very nice. This is obviously a neighborhood restaurant. There is no bathroom. They take...
