Balkan Spezialitäten — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Was visiting Nürnberg for the day, and randomly stumbled upon this place. I had coincidentally been to Bosnia a few weeks prior so the taste of authentic Cevapcici is still fresh in my mind. It was very good, not an exact replica of the authentic stuff but still extremely close. But what really made me fall absolutely in love with this place was their tres leches desert. Oh my god, as soon as i took that first bite, my mind and melted away into pure bliss. For those who don't know tres leches is a milk soaked cake with a caramelised milk topping, and it's one of the best deserts in the world. And this place quite possibly made the best version I've ever had. By far the best desert I've had in Germany. So please at least just come here for thr tres leches.

Last night we got in pretty late in Nürnberg and found this eatery and dined in at about 21:30. Not the fanciest of places (has a quick service diner-style approach with payment at the counter) but the food we ordered were very tasty and service was courteous and friendly! We can't remember the names of our orders but I think they were number 15 and 16 on the menu, Cevapcici and Köfte. We swapped rice with their fries. The thick creamy paprika dip was so good alongside their flatbread. The grilled meats were so aromatic, juicy, tender and flavoursome. And they're halal, in case you're practising and observing. We spent under €25 excluding tips for 2 persons'...

Grill is set in narrow scenic streets in Nunberg, Ambiance is typical street food restaurant, so don't expect to much stile. Food is good, definitely deserved 4 stars, food diversity is also good. Service is sloppy and unintended of any kind of contact or conversation with guests, so if you ask something extra on your food, or something taken out of your food, you can forget about it because they dont listen and are not dressed like a crew, just like random people are serving you.
