I don't know who reviews these places but I can't believe it has a 4.8. We ordered the Salmon and chicken dishes. My wife's Salmon was badly overcooked, the mashed pumpkin was bland and cold, and smeared on the plate as if this was a fancy restaurant. The vegetables were the best part of the dish . She didn't complain to the waiter, but did complain to me and ate it all.
My chicken was thin, smsll , dry, and cold on the fatter side. I had to take a piece out of my mouth in fear it was not cooked. It was well done! I asked if it was re heated. The waiter said no. He took it away and order a replacement which was hot and rubbery. Have you ever bought chicken breast that was layered and rubbery, it happens, occasionally. But it was still badly overcooked. I was hungry, ate it and left. Terrible food. Sorry, but 18.90 Euro for 109 grams of bad chicken and 22 euro for overcooked Salmon is one expensive (in Aud) rubbish dinner. I know it's not fair to compare value, but the entire meal cost just over 100AUD with drinks. I did notice plenty of people arriving after the kitchen closed at 10pm just to sit and drink beer. Leider waren alle Speisen = Vorspeisen nicht gut:
Kabeljaubällchen, geschmacklich gut, aber total matschig und zu dunkel. Tomatenbrot für 7,-€, völlig ungewürzt, geschmacksneutral. 6, setzen. Schweinebauchwürfel, hart und trocken. Käsebällchen 8,-€, Gummibälle, kaum essbar, haben einen Teil nicht gegessen. Tapioka-Würfel, waren OK.
Preis-Leistung unangemessen.
Wir wollten dann eigentlich noch Steaks und Wein bestellen, haben ca. 15 Minuten gewartet, es kam aber Niemand mehr zu uns hoch an den Tisch.
Ich bin dann runter und habe gesagt, wir hätten noch gerne etwas bestellt, möchten aber jetzt doch lieber zahlen und gehen.
Die Bedienung hat sich zwar entschuldigt und war auch grundsätzlich nett & freundlich, aber leider nicht aufmerksam.
Der Chef stand übrigens daneben, hat gerade eine Limette ausgepresst, mich angesehen und sich umgedreht.
Es sollte nicht Jeder ein Lokal eröffnen.
Die Einrichtung des Lokales ist gut gelungen.
Four of us were there for the first time, a little later on a Saturday evening. It was busy and we were in good spirits.
Unfortunately, all the dishes = starters were not good:
Cod balls, tasted good but totally mushy and too dark.
Tomato bread for €7, completely unseasoned, tasteless.
6, sit down. Pork belly cubes, hard and dry. Cheese balls €8, rubber balls, barely edible, we didn't eat some of them. Tapioca cubes, were OK.
Price-performance ratio inappropriate.
We actually wanted to order steaks and wine and waited about 15 minutes, but no one came up to our table.
I then went down and said that we would have liked to order something else but would now rather pay and leave.
The waitress apologized and was generally nice and friendly, but unfortunately not attentive.
The boss was standing next to me, squeezing a lime, looking at me and turning around.
Not everyone should open a restaurant.
