Such an awesome cocktail bar!

First off, the staff is SO incredibly friendly and knowledgeable- they recommended drinks that they thought we would like based off what we normally drink (even a few that weren’t on the menu!) They were so personable and chatted while they worked. Loved making connections with them. Any Chicagoans looking for Malört: they have some! They also have the hard-to-find Chartreuse. The owner also went out of his way to make vegetarian snacks for us- he was awesome.

Second, the cocktails were exquisite. They obviously care about crafting high-quality cocktails. All of their syrups are homemade, they infuse their own flavored alcohols (like rosemary gin) and barrel age their own Negronis—highly recommend this one! We tried several different drinks and also loved the cherry aquafaba sour (can’t remember the name), the Godfather, the Chicago Typewriter and the Blueberry Bock.

Third, the atmosphere is so charming. It’s cozy and traditional but also hip and modern feeling. Highly recommend bellying up to the bar to watch the masters work.

We will 100% be back to visit this fine...

Food: We only had drinks but all of them were an experience and very special and we got free Flips to it. Also the menu is worth a closer look.

Service: The waiters are super super kind. We arrived on the 29th of December and they squeezed us in for New Year‘s Eve and also gave us a lot of recommendations for Nürnberg. They made us feel very very comfortable and like we would be costumers for a lot of years already.

Atmosphere: The bar is located in an old house that is giving almost medieval vibes even though it’s comfortable in today‘s standards. We felt a bit like in a Harry Potter movie or like in Assassin‘s Creed.

In General we loved it there and we found the bar in the first day by accident but it made us feel so good in the city like we lived there already...

If you are looking for craft cocktails in Nuremberg's old town, you have to visit this place! The venue is beautiful and cozy, but the cocktails created by the welcoming owner are even better. Enjoying his signature drinks while listening jazz music and having a nice chat about mixology is priceless. You also get nuts with your drink and there are cocktails of the month with ingredients of the season. Absolutely...
