Update 5/12/2023 Today I received a notification from Google that the owner requested (AGAIN) to have my review deleted, based on the same FALSE claim that I didn't have any business relationship with the restaurant (i.e. that I didn't dine there). This is clearly FALSE and it's crazy that I'm still being harassed for sharing my true negative experience after 3 months. Stay away from this place!

Update 17/09/23: The owner now claims that they never requested google to have my review deleted and that they never claimed that I did not dine there. This is a lie. On 15/09/23 I received from Google a removal request with the following claim from the owner: "There is no business relationship with Google user Armando Miano. It is probably a fake name. In this context, in accordance with the case law of October 25, 2011 - VI ZR 93/10 (BGH), I would like to request that you investigate this violation and, if necessary, contact the author of the review and delete the review of "Armando Miano" if the reviewer does not provide evidence to the contrary." Basically the owner claimed that they did not have any business relationship with me and say my review is fake and it should be deleted.

Just to remind everybody of the facts here: We did not receive an itemized receipt until we asked for it We were charged 7.5€ for extra bread and 10€ for hummus we never received. After we complained they removed the charges but never apologized for that We were charged 24.9€ for a dessert whose price was not listed on the menu -- we would have never ordered it otherwise The owner tried to have my review deleted claiming that it is a fake while they perfectly knows and now acknowledge that I dined there

When we received the bill we complained about the mis-charges and the exorbitant price of the dessert, but not at all "insulting and swearing", as the owner falsely claims.

We are always happy to pay for what we eat and for good food, but not happy to pay for things we did not receive or for overpriced food with hidden prices.

Again, the readers can judge by themselves.

Update 15/09/23: I just received a notification by google that the owner of Levantine requested to have my review deleted because they claim that I never dined there. This is ridiculous! They know perfectly that I dined there and they want my review deleted just because it's negative. I now attach some pictures as a further proof -- including a picture of the 24.9€ ice-cream. Unfortunately I can't attach a photo of the receipt because it was never given to us. You can draw your own conclusions of how this place does business...

Original review: Extremely overpriced and dishonest host. The food was good (except for the Tabboule which was €15.9 but was basically just parsley). However, it's very expensive for what you get. When we asked to pay the bill we were just told the total and not even shown an itemized receipt. Since the total was suspiciously high (€140+ for 2 people) we asked to see the itemization and found out that we were charged €7.5 for extra bread which we never asked for (and it's not even on the menu) and €10 for a hummus we never received. Most outrageously, the dessert (a pistacchio ice-cream) was €24.9, also not listed on the menu ("ask us for desserts"). When we complained about the price of the dessert the host said "This is Germany, no drama." I've never paid as much for a dessert! Of course we could have asked for the price when we were told about the dessert options (just the ice cream) and we ordered it, but we would have never imagined such a crazy price. Almost as expensive as their mains (€27). Water and wine were also very expensive (€6.5 for a bottle of water and €10 for a glass of red wine). Stay away unless you want to...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Levantine, a Lebanese food restaurant in Nuremberg, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful ambiance that transported me to the heart of Lebanon.

One of the highlights of my visit was the impeccable service provided by John and his team. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine they served. John himself took the time to explain the intricacies of Lebanese flavors and ingredients, guiding us through the menu with expertise and enthusiasm. His genuine love for Lebanese cuisine shone through in every aspect of the service, creating a truly memorable dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at John's offers a wide variety of Lebanese dishes, all crafted with care and precision. Each bite was a burst of authentic flavors that transported me back to the streets of Beirut. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every dish, and the presentation was artful, showcasing the chef's attention to detail.

I started with the mezze platter, which included an assortment of hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, and stuffed grape leaves. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, and the textures were perfect. The hummus was smooth and creamy, the tabbouleh was packed with freshness, and the falafel had a delightful crunch. It was a wonderful introduction to the meal.

For the main course, I opted for the mixed grill platter, which consisted of perfectly grilled lamb chops, chicken skewers, and kofta. The meats were tender, juicy, and infused with a tantalizing blend of spices. Accompanied by fragrant rice and a side of grilled vegetables, the dish was a true delight for the senses.

To round off the meal, I indulged in some traditional Lebanese desserts. The baklava was sweet and flaky, while the mouhalabieh, a creamy milk pudding, had a delicate rosewater flavor that was simply divine.

In addition to the exceptional food and service, the atmosphere at John's was inviting and cozy. The restaurant's décor exuded an authentic Lebanese charm, with warm lighting and tasteful Middle Eastern accents. The music playing in the background added to the overall ambiance, completing the experience.

Overall, John's restaurant in Nuremberg is a hidden gem for Lebanese cuisine. From the warm and knowledgeable service to the outstanding flavors of each dish, everything about the dining experience was top-notch. If you're in Nuremberg and craving authentic Lebanese food, I highly recommend paying a visit to John's. You won't be...

Delightful Dining Experience

My recent visit to levantine was nothing short of delightful. From the warm greeting at the door to the last bite of dessert, every moment was filled with culinary delight. The ambiance was inviting, with tasteful decor and soft lighting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. The menu offered an impressive selection of dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. I opted for the "Lahme sin" and was blown away by the exquisite presentation and depth of flavors. Every ingredient was fresh and thoughtfully sourced, resulting in a dish that was both satisfying and unforgettable. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Their passion for hospitality shone through, enhancing the overall dining experience. Overall, I can not recommend levantine highly enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, this restaurant exceeds expectations in every way. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary offerings.

Without a doubt, JOHN played a pivotal role in making our dining experience truly memorable. Their dedication to providing top-notch service sets a standard that other establishments can only aspire to. We left not only satisfied with the cuisine but also grateful for the outstanding service provided by JOHN. All food was prepared by ARAS - he is a...
